Digestive Enzymes 180 Tabs

I use these all the time. Found them several years ago on Swanson's website but now that I can order through Amazon, I'm even happier. These enzymes are great if you have problems digesting foods. Not just one food but all food. I am a bit older and find I cannot digest foods the way I did when I was younger. Trouble is, I still love those same foods. I started taking these after a friend recommended them. Been taking them since 2007 and I love them. Don't think you have to pay huge amounts of money to get quality. These DE's are just as good as the high priced ones and work just as well. UPDATE: 04/20/25 Older now since I first wrote this review and have developed insulin resistance. Nothing to do with these enzymes as they are still a great product and work. The problem I'm dealing with is I've been eliminating any food product that contains maltodextrin as it spikes my glucose. Trying to keep the numbers in semi-normal range and that means cutting processed foods out. More importantly, any supplement with ingredients that are bad for people with my condition. Maltodextrin spikes my glucose and it's found in so many products. Unfortunately, Swanson's Digestive Enzymes have maltodextrin in them. So, in as much as I would like to continue using them, I have to give them up and find something that doesn't have that ingredient. If anyone (reading this) doesn't have an issue with their glucose and maltodextrin, these are still a great enzyme to use.

They work wonderfully anytime I eat any dairy products. I no longer have that phlegm in my throat and all that coughing. I can take it before or after I eat anything dairy it’s wonderful. I don’t leave anywhere without them.

When I got Swanson, I took one pill with a meal and did not feel it doing anything inside my stomach, which was the beauty of this miracle supplment! It is so gentle yet very effective because it has kept me regular and my stomach doesn't growl like it did with the other brand. I love this product and it's my go to bottle from now on!

My son (age 18) was having severe stomach problems. He was vomiting several times a day. He went to a specialist who did all sorts of tests and said that nothing was wrong with him. The doctor even told him he was forcing himself to throw up. I read about enzymes and suggested that he try them. Since he has been taking these, (he takes one with each meal) he has not had any stomach trouble. No more vomiting.This has been like a miracle for him. We were all surprised how they worked immediately. Other brands might work, but we're not going to take a chance on switching. These work for him, so we're sticking with these.
