Any two sided blade. I bought a 100 blade mixture from Amazon to try and determine which blade gave the best shave.

It's a closed comb safety razor.

Does it come with a blade?

No you have to buy them separately.

Does the case touch the blade? Or is there enough room to keep the blade away from the case?

The razor closes over the blade, thus protecting the blade edge. There is plenty of room in the case for safe storage of the razor.
