Pur Gum Peppermint, 2.72 Ounce , 3 Bags

I am chewing gum only for the dental benefits of the xylitol and only this brand. This flavor is my favorite and it is softer and stays much softer over time than my other favorite flavor of this brand, cinnamon. I chew 2 pieces of the peppermint at a time everyday at work after lunch and it is good in every way. Staying soft is a big deal to me because I have caps and generally don't want my jaw getting a workout either. It never sticks on my teeth (which store bought brands with sugar do) and some flavor remains even after a long time. I tried the 6 pack with all the flavors, but this is the one for me. Sometimes in the evening, I chew the cinnamon, which I need 3 pieces of at once for some reason for the same effect. The cinnamon is a great flavor, but takes a few minutes to get soft and then only stays soft for maybe 15 minutes or so, never really timed it. I am also happy with the ingredients in this gum; I am not aware of any harmful ones in this brand that are common in the others.

Great gum, great product. This is the best gum I've found without aspartame. My go to for sure, the flavor lasts and the gum is a great breath freshener.

I take several medications which cause dry mouth, and xylitol is a great treatment for it, since it induces salivation. I've tried other xylitol gum brands, and none of them taste as good or last as long as PUR. I am a big fan of their peppermint, spearmint, and coolmint. Coolmint is the mildest and reminds me of Freshmint Tic Tacs. The peppermint is slightly stronger and tastes a lot like starlight mints. The spearmint is even stronger, and is sort of like Wrigley's Spearmint gum. I find the Wintergreen to be too strong--it's almost medicinal, vaguely reminiscent of Fisherman's Friends cough drops for about the first 20 seconds of chewing. I haven't tried the other flavors. I would recommend this gum to anyone who wants to chew gum. It tastes great, lasts a long time, and contains 1g of xylitol per piece.

The initial flavor is great, but sometimes it does lose flavor too quickly. Not always. It might just be a quality/age issue from what is sent to us. We subscribe, so we don't run out. I have jaw issues & my doctor told me to "chew gum all day". I'm grateful for this option, without nasty, unsafe ingredients. Thank you!

I quit buying gum in the impulse aisle by store registers, over 12 years ago, due to reading all about aspartame (mom was battling breast cancer at the time and later passed from it). I missed chewing gum, and came across this brand while searching for natural gum back in March. I ordered the 3 pack, peppermint flavored kind. I don't chew every day and am just now getting close to being out. I typically chew 2 pieces at a time- it gives me more to blow "snappy" bubbles with (lol). The gum gets harder to chew around 15-20 minutes or so, NOT rock hard by any means, but the minty breath lasts for a while after spitting the gum out. Packaging tends to get squashed in my bag, but I like that it's s resealable, as long as I remember to close it. It did spill in my center console once; I picked up every piece and did not toss! Too pricey to waste and I like it that much!

About a year ago, I learned I was allergic to aspartame. It is extremely difficult to find chewing gum that doesn't contain that chemical. I landed on PUR through an Amazon search and have totally fallen in love with the company. I love the fact that this gum is healthy for my teeth and mouth but the flavor, albeit great, only lasts for the first five or 10 minutes then diminishes quickly after that. I love the candy coating on the outside and the quality is good.

This gum was recommended to me by my Dentist. After some implant work I had a dry mouth issue. I shared this with my Dental Surgeon and he recommended this for me. I use it regularly with the added benefit of helping to reach areas that flossing doesn't reach. Great Peppermint taste and other flavors as well.
