Zero complaints, everything works perfectly.
I worried for nothing. Everything works as well as I hoped. I have several hundred nails through both guns now, and not a single malfunction. The compressor is… well, it’s not quiet, that’s for sure, but as far as compressors go, it’s not bad. The gauges and regulator work well, as does the regulator. I don’t have a lot of experience with air tools, so I tried a bunch of different air pressures fro 80 to 130. One twist of a knob, and pressure is set. The tank has a nice, semi-knurled bleeder valve on the bottom of the tank. That’s to release the pressure if you’re not going to be using it for a while, as well as to bleed out any accumulated water. When I first fired it up, I didn’t know about the valve, and it was open. (Directions? Who reads those??) Obviously that made a lot of noise as the pressure was leaking right back out with a loud whooshing sound. Once I figured that out, it was MUCH quieter haha. With the valve closed, the tank fills up and shuts off in about two minutes from empty, and only kicks on once in a while. I really didn't want to hear it at all though, so I grabbed [[ASIN :B08M61SD3L another 25' length of hose.]] It's not that loud, but it's much quieter when it's in another room. That hose is a lot higher quality than the very skinny one that comes with the kit, but hey, it's a hose, and it works fine. The kit doesn’t come with any nails or staples, but I bought an assortment of different lengths for both the nailers and the stapler. I initially thought the stapler needed some kind of special staples, but no, it takes regular T50 staples you can buy anywhere. Good news, cuz I have a ton. The 18 gauge brad nailer and the 16 gauge finish nailer sound like they’d be about the same thing, but no. One peek at the guns and you can see the 16 gauge is a monster. The 18 gauge nailer is adequate for trim and baseboards and light work, but the 16 gauge nailer is much more powerful. Not for framing, but pretty much anything else. That one has an easy to adjust depth setting thumbscrew on the nose. I had no jambs at all with any of the tools, and I used nails from 1” to 2 ½” in both nailers, with pressures from 80 to 130 psi. A couple of times when nailing on baseboards I hit drywall screws. The nails bent, but never jammed my nail guns. I can’t believe I waited this long to get this. The only problem with this compressor is that it has a tendency to want to spin on the floor. I put it on a rubber doormat, and that stopped it. The feet are rubber, but there’s usually sawdust or dirt on a jobsite, and apparently that’s all the feet need to let it spin. Might be that all of these pancake compressors do the same thing, I dunno. In any case, this was definitely a good buy, and I’m thrilled with it. Build or fix something for your spouse, and it’ll be justified. Pros + Zero problems after hundreds of nails. + Simple to use regulator. + Comes with hose, two guns, stapler, and instructions (if you feel like reading them). Cons - No nails, staples, or tool oil included. - Wife now wants a lot of projects done.

Stanley Bostitch kit is nice
Shipped all my other nail guns overseas. Had to have one to do some remodeling. Works well enough to get the job done. No complaints. Would recommend.

Good value
Great deal. Used to install hardwood flooring in my entire upstairs bathrooms. Used all three tools, all worked well.

Brand name quality at a great price
I was considering a cordless nailer, but could not decide if I should get a 16 or 18 gauge nailer. I came across this "combo" unit from Bostitch and it changed my mind. For less than I would have paid for one nailer, I get three nailers and the compressor. The products feel high quality and the few test runs I have made with the unit confirm it. Cordless units may free you from being attached to a hose (for as long as the battery lasts) but the cordless nailers weigh far less and are less bulky to use. I am very happy with this product and pleased with the quality. I am extremely happy with the combo pricing.

A nice set all around
My one and only complaint is that some parts of the air compressor get far hotter than I'm comfortable with, but it's not enough to smoke out anything or risk a fire. Just wish the one rubber hose attached from the pump to the tank didn't get so hot, or that it could have maybe been made out of something that felt a bit more durable. Plus, that rubber hose comes out of the plastic housing rubbing on a rather sharp edge of plastic. A super heated rubber hose rubbing on a sharp edge while in operation... not a good idea. Overall, though, the compressor is nice. It does what I need it to do. The brad nail guns are wonderful, very easy to fill and take care of. They feel like they're going to last a while. One thing I noticed is that some people either gave this thing bad reviews because of the nails getting stuck (DIYers) and some people loved it (contractors, professionals). As I read the book, I noticed it said the guns need to be oiled with just a few drops of a specific oil (which I immediately ordered) before use each day. Just a few drops. It's clear those that have had jams likely don't know that they're supposed to oil this gun (or almost any pneumatic tool, for that matter). The air compressor itself is loud, but this is an air compressor. I honestly don't care how loud it is.

Surprisingly better than DeWalt
I ordered the DeWalt equivalent compressor and 18 gauge brad nailer a few days before buying this. I was sorely disappointed in the the quality of their compressor, as it had a leak from the get go. Additionally, the quality was just cheap - not typical of DeWalt products. The DeWalt brad nailer was nice, but had a plastic grip and all plastic firing trigger mechanisms. The nailer was "okay" for the price - would give it a 4 star. I decided to check what else was out there for about the same price and ran across this. I've been a DeWalt guy forever and have never checked out Bostitch tools. Ran across this combo kit and saw that it came with a 16 gauge nailer AND a stapler in addition to the 18 gauge nailer. I thought, this has to be poorly made. Then I read the reviews and gave it a shot. Upon opening the box and feeling the tools, it was immediately that this was a superior product to the DeWalt combo. Like the DeWalt, it has rubber feet and two quick connects. This came with a hose, where the DeWalt did not. The plastic parts of the Bostitch compressor are much more rigid - doesn't feel like it's going to break if you bump it wrong. The Bostitch tools have rubber anti-slip grips, where the DeWalt has plastic. All three of the Bostitch tools were exceptional quality for the price, especially considering they came with the compressor. I'd highly recommend anyone considering the DeWalt combo considers this instead. Won't be disappointed!

very good kit but price fluctuates
I love this kit for its quality and items it comes with. what I hate is that the price fluctuates for this constantly. I ordered it and within the return window the price dropped $50! I asked for a consideration from amazon but their "offer" was to return and re-order, what the heck is that! yeah you have to pay for the shipping and since this is heavy it costs you $40 to ship it :). ok this is not a product issue but this crazy amazon policy on price matching. with all that said, this kit is worth the money. the brad nailer is smooth, the finish nailer is powerful and the stapler is perfect for upholstry work. the pro is that the air gaps are adjustable. this is handy so it doesnt puff in your face the whole time. the con is that I noticed that it prefers bostitch nails (over other brands) and they appear to be a bit more expensive, so I feel like an HP printer locked into these expensive cartridges while the printer itself is reasonably priced :) everything together I can recommend this! compressor is a little noiser then what I am used to and vibrates quite a bit, but the rubber feet tend to keep it in place instead of walking around too much. good buy!

Great value combo
Fantastic value. I have used it extensively and am well pleased with its performance. It's a bit large and heavy but who wants a wimpy compressor on the worksite?

Very lower but a good little unit for the price
Haven’t used it yet because it is a Christmas gift but I did plug it in just to make sure it worked and looked it over, it is quiet lowed which I was a little surprised about seeing that the oil free ones tend to be very very quiet but besides being very noisy it seams like a good little unit and a great price for all u get. If ur looking for something well made with a good price tag I would recommend this product.
