It works great. I bought it for my firestick. I didn't want to purchase a fire cube. It's cheaper to buy this and I was able to use it with some extra USBs I had laying around. Firestick is running faster and smoother with no buffering. Another cool thing that I discovered is that I was able to use a micro SD/SD card reader. I plugged an extra 32gb micro SD card into the adapter and my firestick was able to read it. I purchased an Ethernet cable adapter and that wouldn't work with the USB adapter. I was hoping to be able to use both, but it works great anyhow so I don't really need the Ethernet connection.

Purchased this so I could add a USB Flash drive (for added storage) to my ONN 4K Android TV box (ONN number 100026240). Fits perfectly, works perfectly, even the color matches! PS: As of this review, each one Amazon order will deliver two OTG, I bought two orders without realizing the order was for two, so I got four OTGs. Lol, my bad, but I'm not returning them, I have many older Android Cellphones and also have friends who need stuff, the extra OTGs will go to good use. Keep this in mind!

Works exactly as expected for OTG. The 90° right-angle design keeps the cable tucked in and reduces strain on the port, and the “powered” input helps keep devices stable when you’re running peripherals (USB drive, keyboard/mouse, etc.). Build feels solid for the price and it’s been plug-and-play for me. Just note: you’ll want a decent power source, and OTG compatibility still depends on the device you’re using. Overall, very handy little adapter.

Stopped working and I literally don’t know why it just stopped had it plugged into my fire stick to expand it memory CANT even use it because it won’t power on when it’s plugged in.

I tried out this USB OTG Adapter, hoping to expand the capabilities of my FireStick and other devices. While the idea behind this adapter is great and its compact size is a big plus, I have to give it a 3-star rating due to some frustrating connectivity issues. The design is definitely convenient. The right-angled adapter fits neatly into tight spaces and the small form factor makes it easy to tuck away. It's perfect for adding USB peripherals to various devices without any clutter. I appreciated the concept of being able to connect things like keyboards, mice, and flash drives to my FireStick and other compatible gadgets. However, I ran into significant issues with the micro USB port. It kept slipping out of the FireStick, almost as if it was too small or loose. This inconsistency made it hard to maintain a stable connection, which was particularly frustrating when trying to use the device. The connection should be secure, but instead, it felt unreliable. Additionally, I experienced problems with my USB drive staying connected to the FireStick. The drive would intermittently disconnect, which caused interruptions and made it difficult to use for any extended period. It's a bit disappointing because the whole purpose of this adapter is to provide seamless connectivity, but it fell short in this crucial area. The OTG Adapter has a lot of potential with its handy, compact design and versatility. However, the unreliable connections with both the micro USB port and USB drive are significant drawbacks. If the connectivity issues were resolved, this could be a fantastic accessory. For now, it works well enough for occasional use but can be quite frustrating for regular, reliable operation.

Get the Right Angled pair if you're using for Fire Stick. In most cases if you get the Left Angled pair, the USB port will be pointing towards the TV and thus be a space constraint. I needed extra storage because the Fire Stick 4K is abysmally low. With the OS and pre-installed programs, you get even less. If you're in the same situation, or need to plug in a USB wireless mouse and keyboard, Webcam, etc., this OTG cable is right for you. You get two for the price so if you have multiple sticks lying around, this could be advantageous. The price I paid here on Amazon was really good and I can't complain. It felt like I got a two for one special. The device itself is not complicated. Simply plug it where the existing micro USB power cord goes into the Fire Stick and then plug that same micro USB power cord at the top of the OTG. The only issue I have is that it seems a bit flimsy with the extra space on the bottom. I found some packaging from my Galaxy ear buds (almost like a harder and sturdier styrofoam) and cut to size a spacer. I then used some Locktite which I also purchased from Amazon to attach within the void. I have uploaded pictures which shows the before and after with the spacer. Due to having to make a minor modification, I give it 4 stars. Others won't be bugged by it like I was so for them they shouldn't take my deduction of a star too seriously. It's a great product and most will say it does what it supposed to do.

These things are awesome! They let me add extra storage to my new Firesticks without any hassle whatsoever. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
