I recently purchased the Philips auto light bulbs for my vehicle, and I’m extremely satisfied with their performance. After purchasing the 7440 that Amazon said fit my vehicle. I tried to install that one. It fell out of its socket because of improper size and I had to have the whole brake panel taken apart to gently shake it out. After looking through some Youtube videos (thank you DIY universe) I noticed comments stating that this was the correct light size. Bad Amazon! Get your gear specs right please. Anyway, after ordering this correct size it fit like a dream and worked as intended as rear and brake light. Sweeeet!

If you have the instructions on how to get to your car's light assembly, it is super easy to snap in and install.

Used these lights to replace the brake lights on a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek. They fit perfectly and we’re very easy to install. This two pack was slightly cheaper than the local auto parts store. When replacing the bulbs, after inserting them in the bulb outlet, but before installing them back in the taillight. With a paper towel or clean cloth, wipe down the bulb so that any oils that may be on your hand that have transferred over to the bulb while replacing it are taken off.

My issue with the old halogen bulbs is that they go out in less than six months and you have to keep replacing them on a yearly basis. However, these Philip bulbs last twice as long and they don't get damaged as easily with vibrations, which is something the industry knows kills these halogen bulbs as the filament would fall out of place. So far a good replacement, and I will definitely keep some spars around just in case. Would choose 100% over the regular halogen bulbs.

Quality bulbs, prefect plug & play compatibility, matches factory bulbs in regard to fitment & brightness. At the time of this review, the bulbs were priced at $5.23 for a pack of two, which is a good value vs comparable products on Amazon or retail stores. I would highly recommend.
