Great idea!
I own two BOSS footpedals (TU-3 Tuner and BD-2 Blues Driver) with this cord they are linked with the optional power supply supplying the power to both. This eliminates the need for batteries and I have growing room for more pedals to be linked in the future. I just zip tied the extras to get then out of the way until needed. Don't know how it would work with other brands of pedals, but for BOSS it works great!

Works Great, I PowerTwo non-Boss Pedals Off My Tuner
In church I use a simple acoustic setup, a Boss TU-3W Tuner into a TC Electronics BodyRez then finally into a Fishman ToneDEQ, which gets plugged into a cheap Bugera AC60 amp. To keep the spaghetti mess of wires down I almost bought a power brick which of course is efficient and all that, but this uber-expensive awesome tuner has a power-out jack and can push 500mw. A great solution would simply be to power the TC and Fishman off that, but you would not believe how impossible it was to find an answer! So many reviews claimed this power cable ONLY worked with Boss pedals, yadda yadda yadda. Finally I called a place where the water is sweet and asked if the Boss Waza mega tuner could power the other two pedals, and he did something for me that was super helpful: he looked up the power draw for all 3 pedals, and also confirmed that the non-Boss were negative-tip. In 30 seconds I had my answer: Boss draws 60 on normal setting and 100 on bright; TC draws 100mw and the Fishman draws 200mw. Total 400mw, so there was no reason why this adapter cable wouldn't power the non-Boss pedals from the TU-3W tuner (which of course is running on the Boss PSA-120S power adapter). Well, HE WAS RIGHT, I got this cable, hooked it up, all three pedals worked great while playing in the service yesterday. The documentation for all these pedals almost panics that you must only use their approved power adapter, etc etc, but as long as you research how much draw there is, you should be fine. This adapter cable simply has 8 female power plugs, so one went into the TU-3W power output jack, and then I hooked up the other two pedals. You don't have to hook up the cable in order, the whole string is serial... I have the #2 plug in the TC and just used #7 or 8 for the Fishman. It is SO nice running the one thin Boss pwer cable to the tuner then chaining the other two. Now that it's confirmed it all works, time to build the pedalboard! (I'm using the Emerson 18x7).

Not compatible with all non-Boss pedals
This would be a perfect product if it fit all non-Boss pedals. I have found that the outside diameter of the plastic part of the plug is a little too thick for some pedals. On my board, it was a problem with a Dunlop Cry Baby Wah. It did fit all of my Boss pedals, but I didn't want to have to run a separate power cord just for my Wah, so I had to find another solution. This is why I removed 1 star. Bottom line, if you have a Boss pedal that can start the daisy chain (I have a Boss WL50 Wireless) and you have only Boss pedals than this would probably be perfect for you.

They do what they do
This daisy chain worked awesome with my boss Tu-3. Not an iso power supply so it def had some noise with a couple of my non boss pedals, but it powers as intended

Works, quiet
Powered off my Boss Tu tuner this cord is quiet and functional. Running TU2, BD2, Ibanez TS9, Ch1 and DD3 nice and neat and no expensive 9v batteries needed!
