I received the battery and tools and in 30 minutes I had the new battery installed. My speaker runs as good as new now. For $20 it's worth the time and effort. Also pay attention to the year your speaker was manufactured because you may have to swap the wires. I missed this during the initial purchase, but customer support helped in a matter of minutes. first order the wires to the connector were reversed, company suggested i dissemble the connector and rewire it correctly. fine i'll try, ended up breaking the connector, they graciously sent me a replacement. this one too was wired incorrectly. rather than fight with this supplier, i managed to reverse the wires this time, but the battery will not charge above half.not a good buy. would not recommend. speaker now lasts bout an hr with battery only, must leave it plugged in for prolonged use, kinda defeats the purpose of a portable speaker.

Tools were a good idea, but not sufficient for the job. Screwdriver head is too soft, and started stripping screw heads. I chose a better screw driver, and used a blunt table knife with more leverage for prying off cover. At first I installed the battery, thinking I had checked wiring. With installation complete, battery would only charge to one bar and shut off. I was going to write a scathing review, but decided to re-open the speaker and recheck wires. Well, I needed to swap out wires, just as the seller advised. Note that NONE of this project was easy, and I am pretty handy. Cover removal takes strength, and adhesive/glue at several points must be broken loose. Screws are seated very tightly, and I needed more than my strength (had to enlist my hubby, and he worked hard at this; twice!) for both the screws that had begun to strip with the supplied screwdriver, and for removing the end cap of the speaker to access battery plug-in. I cracked two pieces of the speaker, which will compromise water seal, but not functionality. Once the wires were swapped and the speaker reassembled for the second time, the battery started charging at four bars, and proceeded to a full charge, auto shutoff, and apparent normal functioning. I am glad I replaced the battery, but it was a challenging task.

Quick delivery, I had to rewire but it was super simple, fast response from seller with instructions. Came nearly fully charged, and 8 hours of play at full volume on a full charge. Very satisfied customer here!

I had a very easy time getting the battery installed as well as switching the positive and negative wires. The battery life lasted way longer than my charge 4. My only problem is that the battery won't charge past 1 blinking light! Please if anyone has a solution, send help!

attenzione al connettore e all'anno di produzione dell'altoparlante, visto che questo aspetto non è sufficientemente evidenziato, inizialmente non riuscivo a farla funzionare e pensavo fosse guasta, invece, capito il problema, ho dovuto semplicemente invertire alcuni fili del connettore.
