So Far So Good
Got this one along with Dragon Rising and haven't finished DR yet and lemme tell ya I really like DR so I'll have to have an update on this one down the road to give it a fair and unbalanced review. What I did see of it for the few minutes I have played it am looking forward to it. It does take a Game for Windows LIVE account to activate it and to be honest I had to uninstall it the first time and reinstall it as it was giving me a Windows Error message but that seemed to do the trick and haven't had an issue after the reinstall. If you are new to GFWL you will have to run an updater with a patch before you launch the game which if you have never done so before requires you to shut the game down after the update to install it then it will automatically do so and relaunch the game...just remember to do that first or you may have the problem I did initially.

Great Game
Great game but takes some fiddling to get it to work today since it uses Xbox Live which is no longer supported.

Not as good as Dragon Rising, but almost.
This game is not as tactical as Dragon Rising, but almost as fun, depending on how your outlook is and what you are hunting for in a First Person Shooter. If you want to be directed on every aspect of what to do and where to go on missions, and don't care about your own mission approach and tactics, then this game is for you. If you do care about those things, I recommend playing this game anyway, as well as Dragon Rising. The comedic expressions of your squad leader quickly get old, but offer up a nice twist in the story once in a while with a good chuckle. If you have kids, keep them out of the room when playing this game, otherwise they may hear the F-bomb every two words in this guys' sentences. The action is intense just like dragon rising, however, this game is more of a move a click or 2 to defend a spot, then run all the way back to defend the last spot you defended, again. It's a linear experience compared to the last installment of this game, and there is no multiplayer, just coop, which is a good thing in my opinion because this company absolutely blows at making multiplayer games. This is not a run and gun style game, unless you enjoy restarting every 5 seconds from dying. So, call of duty players, beware, your tactics are not good enough. I am pretty sure that these games are geared more towards military, ex military, and semi intelligent tactical favored persons. There are many acronyms that the military use in this game, so if you never have been in the military, just go ahead and turn the dialogue off because you will not understand a word that is said in this game. Otherwise, people with experience with these acronyms, such as myself, can rather enjoy this games dialogue.Overall, this game is more tactical than every other shooter out there for consoles, except dragon rising. It is crazy at times with all of the bullets flying, but is very repetitive, but such are the marine tactics in real life, which this game is based off of. Its a nice change of pace from the other games out there, but for such a cheap price, I would recommend buying this and its predecessor - Dragon Rising.

Can I Get My $$$ Back?
I give this game 1/2 star for graphics ONLY, but that is more due to my great gaming machine than to the actual program, probably. That aside, the game is NOT good for single FPS quality of play! Menu's are too complex, cut scene's are very long, command and control for FPS type game play is frankly terrible. I've been doing FPS as single (never on line or multiplayer) for over 28 years, this one is a stinker. I wanted it to be good, I tried it over and over again, in the event I was the real problem and perhaps a learning curve needed to be applied. Ultimately, this game does not cut it for me. I just want to kick down doors and hose everything in the room with a BFG, let the Almighty sort out the bodies! BULLETSTORM is much better play as FPS or even DUKE NUKEM 4EVR for the mature player!

Just as sad as the previous game.
Just not a very well thought out game. Playing a death match or co-op game is such a pain to connect. With today's technology it s/b very easy to connect with another player. The developers have made so difficult that by the time you figure it out you do not want to play anymore.Wait for the game to go on sale.

To Be Fair - It's Cool (but not much fun for me)
I do like this game. Good graphics, nice setups, realistic scenarios and open space to figure it out. However, I found it disheartening to go to all of the trouble to figure out how to do something and work hard at it, only to die with one or two shots, then need to start all over. Not my idea of fun.I'm not a soldier. I just wanna have fun.
