Good package value and perform as described. We only use these thin units where we don't need POE. However, they save us loads of space in the network rack and at the switches.

Great cables

These Cable Matters Cat 6 Ethernet Cables worked really well for my server rack setup. The 3ft length was right in the sweet spot for shorter runs, and the snagless design made routing through the rack a lot cleaner without cables catching on everything. Speeds have been solid too, no drops or connectivity issues since installing them, and they handle the 10Gbps rating without any hiccups. Getting 10 in a pack is great value, plenty to fill out multiple connections with a few spares left over. Solid, reliable cables that do exactly what they're supposed to for a home rack setup.

I purchased quite a few of these cables in various lengths and colors. I have not used them all, but I have had many of them in service since October 2014 and they have worked well.I have most of my house wired and have hubs throughout the house. I had a couple cables fail on me in 2014 as I was moving decices around. I decided that I had no good system for my cables and I wanted to remove 20' cables from places that I only needed 3'.I color coded my cables and purchased cables in the correct length. For example, all cables from the wall to a hub are now Red, cables between hubs are yellow, etc. I ended up with 5 different colors.I found that the connectors worked well and they snapped into place with an audible "click" and did not pull out with moderate force. The cables themselves were not too stiff so they were easy to snake around in the back of the shelf. I tested all the cables with a tester before putting them into service and had none fail. I have not tested the speeed, but I stream HD video from a centeral server to different TV's and have had no problem, so I think they are "fast enough" for me.In general, a cable like this either works or doesn't work, but I appreciated that I could order different colors and lengths easily and know that the red would be the same shade on all cables since I was purchasing from the same vendor. Not that this impacts performance, but I liked it.

Also, das Kabel ist echt solide. Es macht genau, was man von einem Ethernet-Kabel erwartet – verbindet schnell und zuverlässig. Das Design ist auch okay, nichts Übertriebenes, aber robust genug, um es öfter mal anzufassen, ohne dass man Angst haben muss, es kaputt zu machen.Lieferung ging flott, und das ist für mich immer ein Pluspunkt. Also ja, wer ein gutes Internetkabel braucht, kann hier zugreifen. Passt!

Fonctionne très bien, j'utilise ces câbles entre mon petit switch et le bandeau mural permettant de connecter internet à la maison.

Use these for our rack in data centre, always well packed, work at advertised speeds and never had one fail yet, can get full 10g and love the clean look, great value.
