This is my first diffuser and I am very happy with it. In fact, I like it so much I bought a second one from this company. This is my personal honest opinion and I get a little frustrated seeing so many reviews on amazon from people who have received free or discounted products in exchange for reviews. I am interested in people like me who have spent their money and bought a product who want to give a review. First, the only issue I have had with this diffuser is that it is difficult to twist on and off when filling. Difficult, not impossible. If you get the hang of it you will figure out how it should go and it will be a little easier. It locks so that the oil doesn't spill, so you can't just twist it on and off like a water bottle cap. Secondly, I have used both high grade pure essential oils and those with lesser grade and the scents and fragrances can fill several rooms, especially the more potent ones. I have never had a problem with being able to smell the oils. Some will call for more drops than others but that is based on the fragrance of the oil. For example, I use more drops of lemon oil than lavender because the lavender has a really strong potent smell. If I put too much in I will have to turn it off more frequently because it's just too strong. Also, the diffuser has two settings. If you press the "on" button once the diffuser will run for about 30 seconds, shut off and then automatically turn back on. It will continue to do this on this setting. I don't want to assume this is what is happening with those who say it "stopped working" but it is possible. If you press that same button twice instead of once, the diffuser will run consistently until it runs out of water. I use both settings depending on how much fragrance I want or how long I want the water to last. The mist from my diffuser works perfectly fine. The other button is strictly for the lights. Sometimes I use them sometimes I don't. You can have the lights off and use just the diffuser. The "on" light stays on consistently. It is just a small red or green button depending on the mist setting so if you need complete darkness to sleep it may be a problem. I am very happy with the purchase. It does the job efficiently and is reasonably priced. The ones from the essential oil companies are twice to three times as much. I have one diffuser for the main area in the house and now a second one for the bedroom. I also think it could be used as a humidifier even without the oil. Glad I bought this.

I bought this diffuser for our upstairs loft/playroom because I wanted to start using essential oils in more areas of our house. I already have a different diffuser in one of my kids’ rooms, so I wanted something similar for this space. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It puts out a nice, calming scent and works well for freshening up the loft area. I also like that it uses a USB plug, which makes it easy to set up in different spots around the house depending on where you want it. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I originally thought it was cordless/rechargeable, and it’s not—it does need to stay plugged in to run. That was my misunderstanding, but I still think it’s worth mentioning in case anyone else assumes the same thing. The 2-hour timer works well, and the 150 mL tank seems to hold enough water for that full run time, with sometimes a little left over. The color-changing light is also a nice touch if you want a soft, relaxing glow in the room. Another thing I really like is that it’s lightweight. The casing is plastic, but it doesn’t look cheap at all—it actually looks nicer than I expected. Since this is in our loft play area, I preferred something lighter rather than a diffuser with a heavier top piece. Overall, this has been a great little diffuser for our space and definitely does the trick for keeping a fresh, calming scent upstairs. I’m happy with it and would buy it again.

This was my first time purchasing an ultrasonic essential oils diffuser. I chose this brand based on excellent reviews I had read online. My current needs are just for a single room in a small area, so I chose this smaller model. This is very easy to set up, just add (100ml) water to the line marker, add 3 drops of essential oil, and turn it on. I was surprised to see the scented mist began immediately, no "warming up" or waiting for it to start. There are two easy to use buttons, one for mist and one for the light. The 2 mist options are either a 30 second bursts or continuous, until the water runs out. The light options are in various colors and dimming, or off. When you first turn the light on, it starts its sequence with a changing colors option, and if you click it again it runs through separate solid (non-changing) colors. Something I discovered that I did not remember reading in other reviews about the light colors: when it is in the changing colors option, whatever color it is currently on when you click the light button again is what the color stays. So if you want blue, you don't have to keep clicking the button to run through them all. You can wait until the light turns blue in its cycle to click the button to have it stay blue. Another consideration I made in choosing this model is that others in my home are sensitive to fragrances, so I didn't want something that would permeate outside of my bedroom. This is perfect size for that. When I wake up, the diffuser is off, the fragrance is not lingering, and I just wipe out the tiny bit of water that is left in it so it will dry out before bedtime. Every few days I unplug it and give it a more thorough wipe-down with a clean, wet paper towel. The directions instruct you to first run the product with no oil for one whole cycle. I did this and could confirm it ran for 3 hours before its auto-shutoff. I've been using the diffuser daily to help with my sleep. Three drops as recommended by the manufacturer is sufficient oil. I have been having fantastic results using lavender and lavender blends. It has really improved my sleep cycle. Another blend I like is one I made for relaxing that has rose geranium, clary sage, and bergamot. I am really happy with the product and the benefits with using it.

I love this diffuser! I'm brand new to the essential oils thing but this review is strictly on the diffuser itself. First off, I love that it has 2 settings on how you want it to diffuse. Green light, it'll diffuse on for about 30 seconds and then stop for about the same amount of time and alternate until it runs out of water or you shut it off. Red light just runs continually until you, again, run out of water or shut it off yourself. Now they say that the unit should run continuously (red light setting) for about 3 hours and intermittently (green light setting) for about 6 hours. My personal experience as that it runs way longer (by at least 2 hours on the green setting). I use mine to help me sleep at night instead of taking medicine every night. I usually go to lay down between 8-9 pm and start my diffuser. Most nights (again on the green setting) I'll wake up the next morning at 5 am and it's still going. I also always fill it up for bedtime and it usually is still about 1/4 of the way full. So as far as runtime goes, I'm thrilled! Next it has several light settings to choose from as well as brightness. You have the choice to have it cycle through colors or put it on a specific color with either a bright setting or dim. You can also choose to have no lights on at all which is what I do because I'm such a light sleeper. I even have to put a small decorative piece in front of the unit because that light that shows you it's on will keep me up. Lastly, one of my favorite things about it is that it's so quiet, you hardly know it's running other than seeing the mist and a very, very slight sound. With as light of a sleeper as I am, this is wonderful for someone like me! My only complaint I have with it, is that sometimes it's a little tricky to carefully twist the top on and off to fill it up every night. I've spilled some water a couple of times but the trick I use to try to reduce spills is to firmly hold the bottom and carefully twist the top until it twists into place. I hope this lengthy (but hopefully useful) review helps you with you purchase choice! I highly recommend this diffuser and plan to get another one in the near future!

perfect for space I put in in and for the intended use. The cord is however VERY short as mentioned in other reviews.

This is my first humidifier/ diffuser and I thought it would be a good size for an appx 11x14 bedroom. I live in a dry climate and I get zapped so bad from static every day when I make my bed or pull the covers and sheets off to wash, that it goes down into my feet. This unit does not put out enough humidity to alleviate any of the dryness in my room. The power plug is on the bottom, instead of the side, which makes it impossible to not spill water either when it's full and you are trying to re-plug it, or when it's done misting and there is a bit of water left in the reservoir and you are trying to unplug it to clean it so you don't get the cord wet. I need complete darkness and quiet to fall asleep; no little lights shining in like clocks or whatnot and I have not figured out how to completely turn off the power light without turning off the unit. The green or red mist light stays on, even though the unit light itself is off. It is somewhat quiet, but the first night I used it on continuous (it ran for 3 hours and turned off, which is good), I had to move it to the floor at the door and turn the red mist light facing away from my bedroom I could hear the water gurgling. The next night I put it in the same place on intermittent, angled the mist spout into the room next to my bed and it helped with the noise, but the green light...oy. It ran for 9 hours and the static in my room was the same as usual when I woke up. I will keep the unit since I like using it as a diffuser but I purchased a larger, 4L humidifier in hopes of providing some moisture into the air. I purchased the combo humidifier and set of 8 essential oils and so far, I like all of them, they came solidly packaged with no leaks and no problems shaking them to dole out drops at a time. One seemed stuck but I put the cap back on and shook it, and then it worked fine. If you're looking for a specific humidifier to help with moisture, this might not work for you but as a diffuser, it's good.

Inexpensive unit that works very well. Suits my needs perfectly. The color cycling feature is cute but not for me and easily turned off. The unit makes a little noise but nothing excessive or disturbing. There is a green or red power light (small and dim) that is fairly discrete.

Awesome product, really glad to have purchased it. Turns off automatically when it runs out of water.
