JETech Screen Protector for iPad 9th/8th/7th Gen 10.2", 1-Pack

Worked perfectly. This appears, so far, to be very sturdy and a quality product at a reasonable price. I recently installed a tempered glass protector on my iPhone 5s and loved it. When my one year old film type screen protector became loose at two corners and began lifting, dust and bubbles were getting underneath so I decided to try this glass protector on my IPad Air. I removed my old screen protector, using the "good" side that was still very sticky to lift off any dust. Then I cleaned the screen with my own alcohol swab (not included but think that it should be). I highly recommend this step if you have any swabs handy. I did remove my IPad from its case and then used the little dust catcher sticky thing that came with the protector and went over the screen again. The dust lifter provided was the size of an iPhone though. I think a full size dust lifter would be better but it worked fine, so no points off for that. Then I gave the IPad screen a number of final swipes with the provided cloth. I removed the protector from its envelope and attached the two little red tape guide things on either side of the middle of the top side of screen protector. These are handy to position the protector over the IPad screen as you maneuver it into the righ spot. Next I peeled off the backing marked "1" and began my installation. It took me less than 30 seconds to position the piece over the two circle cutouts on top and bottom of the Ipad screen to my satisfaction. I wanted to make sure that it would land perfectly centered over each one. Then, I carefully lowered the protector and, voila, the thing just installed itself without a single bubble. There was no top film to remove which wasn't needed anyway as there was no need to use a squeegee or credit card to install and/or remove bubbles. I ran the cloth over the whole thing for good measure. It looks beautiful and everything performs as if it wasn't even there. Easiest iPad screen protector I ever installed. I would highly recommend this product so far. If it protects and stays in place as well as my iPhone glass protector does, then this will continue to be 5 stars for me.

I absolutely HATE these screen protectors. Putting them on is always a pain - you get bubbles, dust, lining them up is a nightmare. However...not so with this one. First and foremost, these guys came up with a stupidly simple idea to make lining the protector sheet up easy - "hinges". They include a couple of stickers you put on the side of the iPad, one part on the underside of the device, the other on the protective screen. You just get it all lined up then apply the "hinge sticker". Then you take the screen protector off and clean your screen really well, remove the protective film, and move the protector sheet back over to the iPad. It really does making lining it up pretty easy. They include a sort of squeegee that does a good job of pushing air bubbles out. They also include another sticker you can use to remove dust if one sneaks in under there (it did on me). I won't lie...it did take me a solid 15 minutes of pushing air bubbles out and a speck of dust managed to get under there so I had to use the dust removal sticker, but in the end it all worked out. These new iPads have screens that are just ridiculously easy to scratch; they're not like the older models. I can't recommend strongly enough - you need to get a screen protector. I never used one on any of my iPads and my last one was scratched terribly within a few months. The same occurred with my iPhone 13 Pro. This particular screen protector seemed well reviewed and purchased (not to mention affordably priced) so I gave it a shot and, thus far, I am favorably impressed and would recommend the product.

I have had a number of iPads but have never had a screen protector on any. I bought a 12.9” Pro over a year ago and combined it with an Apple case/keyboard. Regrettably the keyboard scratched the screen, or at least left marks on it. I recently replaced the keyboard with a new Magic Keyboard and decided to see if a screen protector would hide the scratches. I didn’t want a anti glare as i like the Retina display and do a great deal of photo work on the iPad using Lightroom. I eventually found this JETech protector and decided to try it, although I was skeptical that it would do what I wanted and be easy to install. The item arrived quickly and everything was well packaged. The instructions were comprehensive and there is also a video on the YouTube channel which is a ‘must watch’ it makes everything so easy. I installed the protector in just a few moments having watched the YouTube video. The application went just as described and I am amazed at the result. There were a couple of bubbles under the protector but using the squeegee device supplied, they were removed easily. You do need to press quite hard though. The change to the iPad is remarkable. You can - just - see some of the marks that were present, but you have to look very hard and know where to look. The protector replicates the original gloss Retina screen exactly. There is no change to the sensitivity of the touch screen and, bad use of the small cutout, the Face ID works perfectly. What impresses me most was the ease of installation. If you follow the instructions and video, there are no problems at all. Just read the instructions (not something that many of us do) and take your time. My iPad is now back to it’s original look and with the new keyboard is like having a new device. As a follow up after using the protector for a week, I’ve found that it appears not to attract finger prints and marks like the native iPad screen does. True I’ve been using the Apple Magic Keyboard, so I’m not touching the screen as often as I was previously, however the screen now doesn’t have finger prints and grease marks as it used to. I’ve even stopped needing to carry around a microfiber cloth to clean the screen all the time. It’s a great improvement.

I haven’t put all my info into it yet as I haven’t been but working on getting better . I believe that what others should know about this is that when you get it all connect and have your WiFi on the best thing that I love is I can watch all. My shows like a tv when you can’t watch your show on tv when tv is all taken up by either kids or other green up living with you as a big family . So you have everything on these iPads just like a tv . Then you have your games to play which is fun then the best part of it is when you go check out your pics on photo and bring back your memories of your beautiful gorgeous children that make you smile so huge when they were very young and you show them what they did as a baby that’s the best part of your iPad or phone also . Then you look at them today and you say wow where did the time go . My kids are all grown up and some have kids of their own and you have your grand babies here on your iPad or phone and it’s just the greatest life ever . Babies are so much fun . I love baby’s . There so little and delicate you gotta be very careful with them and then when you’re teaching them wow you get this all on your iPad and it’s just memories of memories after memories and this is what I love the iPad. I mean I like my phone too, but the iPad you can see much more cause it’s you know the screen is just a little bit bigger. OK everybody go get the iPad or whatever size you want and go enjoy your life with it and you’ll see what I mean have fun and have a great life and this weekend. Have a great weekend OK thank you

I bought this to further protect my *already cracked* iPad mini screen. My mini has been to toddler war and has taken some permanent damage. So I bought this and I bought an impact-barrier case to keep it on. It was really easy to install and came with stuff to ensure the glass is as clean as possible including a little cloth and a dust catching "cling" (similar to a tiny window decal). It also comes with easily removable stickers that you can stick to it and hold on to to guide the tempered glass into place without getting your fingerprints or debri between the protector and your mini. When I say easily removable, I mean really easily removable. As in, I couldn't get them to stay affixed to the glass long enough to stick it onto my mini. So when the tempered glass began adhering to the device, there were air pockets. The instructions advise to gently press the screen to remove air pockets. When they say gently, be gentle folks. I started gentle and the air wasn't coming out, so I pressed a little firmer - still air pockets. Long story short, the tempered glass cracked before I got the last air pocket out of there. I'm only docking it one star because I can't tell you if it's the stickers' fault (the ones to help you guide the screen protector into place) for not holding onto the glass for me or if it's because my iPad is already messed up that I got the air pockets. I'm leaning toward it being the mini's fault. The crack is small so I left it on and put my mini in the case I got. It's been a few days, don't forget my mini is well-loved, and the tiny crack in the protector hasn't grown so I'm not dissatisfied. I recommend this product to help protect your mini screen.

I bought this screen, because I dropped my iPad and the screen cracked on the top corner and a bit down the screen. I did not want to pay to replace the glass and thought I’d try this first. It worked great! Because of the cracks a few of the bubbles between the screen remained, but it’s not visible when using my iPad. $10 fix vs $160. Love it!!!
