Denso First Time Fit Alternator - 210-0619

Replaced alternator on my 2007 Yaris. Direct fit. Still going strong two years later

I ordered this alternator and the original unit arrived with a clearly misaligned pulley, showing visible wobble when viewed from the side. This makes the unit unsafe to install. I requested a replacement, expecting the issue to be resolved, but unfortunately the replacement unit has the exact same pulley defect. Pulley misalignment is not a cosmetic issue — it can cause serpentine belt wear, vibration, noise, bearing damage, and premature alternator failure. Since both units had the same problem, I was unable to install the alternator at all and had to return it again. Photos are included to clearly show the issue. This experience was disappointing, especially after receiving two units with the same defect

Con el tiempo empezó a sonar más y más fuerte hoy en día sigue funcionando pero tiene ese ruido extraño en la polea!!!!

Once installed, the alternator had a slight whine to it, however, after a break in period it the whine stopped. The product worked from installation and is continuing to perform. Update: after a few weeks of moderate use to and from work/school, the alternator began to die. The whine never worked itself out--as it sometimes does with other rebuilds--and is clearly symptomatic of a bad build.

Perfect fit. Exact replacement part.

It seems like it's working, but it's making a subtle grinding noise like it might have bad bearings or something isn't rotating smoothly. Hopefully it doesn't die on me.
