I’ve had a Columbia ski jacket for about 15 years. It’s still in great shape, but the zipper pull broke off. I was using a paper clip, but it looked trashy and kept bending. This was the perfect solution, easy to attach and much cheaper than a new coat :)

To whom concern: this is the second time I have purchased these and will never buy them again, I put them on and two days later they have fallen off and nowhere to be found. I have lost 5 of these in the past two weeks! I wouldn't recommend them unless they worked sadly, they don't for me!

Bought these to replace lost or broken zipper pulls on a couple of different leather jackets. 2 main observations that helped me choose to buy these to begin with. 1. The reviews seems reasonable and better than most other "packaged zipper pulls" on Amazon. 2. The design was appealing to the extent the connection "loop" portion of the pull is hinged. Meaning the pull can easily be installed into existing zipper holes by actuating the hinged side. 2 post purchase observations that ensure I will not buy these again. 1. The diameter of the metal portion of the connector is too large to fit in most zipper on an XL leather jacket made by Shift. Barely fit into the zippers on a Harley Davidson jacket. This ill fitting pull is forever "tight" fitting in the zipper, making the zipper difficult to lay down without torqueing on the pull. So, the zippers will stay suspended at 90 degrees from the zipper itself making the jacket look pretty dumb unless you manually lay the pulls flat. 2. The brittle metal used and the required manipulation to straighten the pull against the zipper caused my to break 2 of the 8 I purchased. The first one broke because I torqued a bit much. Mind you, I barely torqued it to get the metal through the hole on the zipper and it broke. The second one broke without much torque at all. Just a twist of the zipper as I was closing it on my jacket. A motion you MUST do to put on and take off the jacket. The pull itself looks nice enough but I cannot recommend these and won't buy again.

Perfect for fixing a broken zipper pull on my winter boots. The spring latch made it really easy to attach to the broken zipper, and it held up to repeated use all winter long.

It is made quite strong. And once in, will stay for quite a while. This is something that would only make sense to someone who got into a situation of having broken a zipper pull tab in their jackets, or trousers, or suitcase, or anything alike. Thiese particular ones came in handy, when my zipper pull tab broke just before leaving for the Airport. So had to order a pack at my destination. And because I had an extra three handy, which came in use when I broke the zipper pull tab in my casual jacket. But, people who travel frequently, should think of this item as a necessity. It is made quite strong. And once in, will stay for quite a while.

i bought these to replace the zipper pulls on my decade-old super sturdy boots. i've had them for maybe a month and the loop on EVERY SINGLE ONE has bent just from the normal action of zipping and unzipping my boots. this product is completely useless and flimsy.
