Rosehip Oil, 100% Pure, Raw, Cold Pressed, Unrefined, Non-Comedogenic

Updated review from 4 stars to 5. ***SEE UPDATE AT END*** Just an honest review...I can't say the oil has made me look 20 years younger or anything nor did I expect it to. I have used rosehip oil (from other manufacturers) in the past in my homemade skincare serums and I don't remember rosehip looking THIS orange...instead past bottles have always been a light gold/clear color. This is straight ORANGE. Other reviewers mentioned that it may also contain turmeric which could account for the odd color. Turmeric IS NOT listed anywhere on the bottle. I use this in a mixture of my homemade facial serum so it's hard for me to judge the quality of this rosehip on its own. But the orange color of the oil (even diluted 1:3) definitely leaves a tint on the skin. Since I have medium olive skin it's not as noticeable however for someone who has fair skin, I think it might be a problem. UPDATE: After some more online research I read from multiple sources (not related to the manufacturer) that rosehip oil with a richer hue of orange is indicative of the oil being cold pressed and also indicates the presence of skin-protecting carotenoids while paler hues CAN indicate that the oil has oxidized. I'm by no means an expert but after my research I am no longer concerned about the bright orange color of the oil. I still suspect it might show up or even stain fair complexions but with my skin tone it's not an issue and I will continue to use and will purchase again.

I specifically bought this oil because of everyone's complaining about how orange it was. Rosehip seed oil is supposed to be orange. All the other brands out there that have a light straw color have been heavily processed. If you go out in nature and harvest Rose tips and squish them in your hand, it's going to turn your hands bright orange red. Does this oil actually stain your face? It's going to make you look orange, yes. But it's not going to stay in your skin, it will come off with soap and water. I suggest wearing it at night, and not having light colored sheets. But it's going to be great for your skin because of how unprocessed it is. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have the scent it should. It has no sense at all. And maybe that has to do with the variety of Rose it uses. It uses a different type than another rose hip oil that I use. And I show that in the video I posted. But rosehip oil should have a very faint honey soaked grain nutty kind of smell, which is really pleasant. So I will be mixing this oil with another oil that isn't as orange but has the scent that I'm looking for.

I love this oil. I've ordered it several times. I've used it for about one year along with castor oil and vitamin c serum and the results are great for me. This product is a keeper. I'm not using it daily as before, but still use it at least 2 - 3 times per week because it has been working. It's an excellent value for the money, pure ingredients, and absorbs well without skin irritation. Love it!

Not a deep orange color nine is light colored packaging was sealed properly I am not sure what to think. People are saying it is supposed to be a deep orange color? Well I used it tonight I will have to come back and rate it.

This is the best Rosehip oil I ever bought. Other Rosehip oils I used before did not work for me. This one does. I use it for my face and neck areas. It absorbs into my skin and makes my skin feel very soft. It also smooths out fine lines on my from head, eye area and puppet lines near mouth areas and helps make chin and neck area look way better. I first wash my face, wet it and then apply this oil. It is like a miracle in a bottle. I plan on keep buying this stuff. I hope it will be available forever!
