Bright bulbs, low energy
These bulbs work very well. I installed them in my bedroom and in the stairway and they light up the space the same as a competing 9 watt led bulb. I reccomend these bulbs if you want a low energy solution for your house lighting. From the other reviews I read I expected them to not last long and/or flicker, but thus far (about a few months) they have not flickered or seen a decline in quality; this is after using them for many hours at a time.

Love the bright white light of these bulbs.

It's about time!
Finally! I found a bulb that is the right wattage with the correct size base. It isn't easy to get the correct bulbs anymore. There are some companies that make the base with a raised lip and that causes the bulb to sit above the socket and when the light is turned on it can cause you to get electrocuted. I finally found the correct base size. They can all say E26 but the length of the stem {?} is too long. These will be the ones I get from now on. The right amount of light, clear bulbs, and shorter base. Thank you!

NOT THE CLEAN WHITE I WAS HOPING FOR
I admit to struggling to understand the lighting nowadays - lumens, kelvins, warm white, daylight....it's all very confusing. But these bulbs give off a yellow light, that I'm not fond of at all. The pictures aren't great, but the first one is with these lightbulbs and the second with the ceiling fan light, which is much whiter - definitely preferred. I will try to educate myself more before buying new bulbs, but would not buy these again. Gave 3 stars, because the clear style is what I was looking for.
