Nice knife but
The knife I received did not have the "FELCO" imprint on it. That's why I bought this knife from Amazon instead of somewhere else, for less and without the Felco name on it. The knife blade is sharp so hopefully will hold up. Feels good in my hand so I guess I will have to live without the Felco name.

Use as a grafting knife or making bassoon reeds
This knife is perfect for a reed maker as well as for grafting. The steel is great and holds an edge well. With a steel hone, it is ideal for any double reed adjustments.

Great knife!!
I used to use Tina grafting knives. However, these hold an edge longer, are cleaner, more durable, and cheaper! Will only be using these from now on.

Left Handed? I guess I can still make it work...
Perhaps I would have known better had I done better research... It seems this would be fine for a left handed person or a right handed cut by pulling the knife towards myself, but it's not going to work as a RH knife cutting away from myself because of the bevel on the blade. It's quite sharp, but it was a rather rough grind on the blade. It benefited from some additional honing.
