had a little rust on it, easily fixed, but for brand new it should not of had any rust.

the locking bolts don't screw into the collar, but as long as you use clips you might not die... Okay, they're cheap and that's what you get.

If anyone has shopped around for chains for training you know how expensive they can be. Buying chain from a chain retailer can be a lot cheaper, but then comes the problems with fastening them to the bar. Well this is a great solution. These are heavy duty, easy to use, and pretty easy on the wallet.Definitely a must have if you're looking to do any kind of chain training with your barbell.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Amazon.com carried this specialty item- and at such a reasonable price. The collars are perfect! I've slid them on all of my Olympic sized bars and they fit like a glove. Now I have to go about the business of finding the proper chains and extensions. I am very satisfied with the quality and the price of this item.

I received your collars, although the internal diameter is so tight that it cant fit in some barbells, averything else is quite good.

Been wanting to add chains to power movements for awhile, finally bought these. Some reviews said they were tight on their bars, mine fit perfectly. Went to Tractor Supply and purchased some chain and used them for deadlifts last week. Great training tool. The price is right, the were packed securely, recommended.

I would recommend these to anyone trying to make their own weight lifting chains. They are heavy duty and it was easy to find chains that fit them.
