Great and easy to use, great results

Female account holder here. I’ve bought St Tropez clear bronzing gel numerous times now with no issues, however, as always the price goes up and up so thought I,d try this product of theirs. Sadly this wasn’t for me and my money should have gone to the one I liked but it was always a chance. I do actually like the fact that the gel is dark brown so with the mitt you can get a good even coverage and see it but sadly when you shower off the whole lot basically went 😮 I have tried a further 2 times just in case it was something new I needed to adapt to, but no, the majority washed off in shower with no scrubbing leaving me with the usual white legs. I don’t leave bad reviews as a rule but this one has shocked me as this wasn’t a cheap item. I have since read other reviews and seen others have said the same. Maybe my skin tone not sure but sorry this was not for me and I have gone on to buy their clear tanning gel as previously bought and I like.

This tan is probably the easiest I’ve ever used, it glides on really easy as a gel, it doesn’t have that burnt biscuit smell like most false tans but I did find that it was a lot stickier for longer than the mousse tans. It gave a instant faint tan and gradually got darker over the hours and left me with a subtle colour which I really liked. It’s clear and easy to see where has been applied so no streaks or patches and after the stickiness has dried left my skin feeling smooth.

First time trying this and I’m impressed !!! I wanted a nice natural looking tan for my wedding day, I’m fair and pretty pale. I left it on for three hours and it didn’t disappoint didn’t leave me looking like an orange haha or streaky it’s got a nice natural sun kissed look too it. If your looking for that dark spray tan look I wouldn’t recommended but a lovely natural looking tan I would definitely recommend. Would buy again !

I've successfully used Fake Bake for years, but bought At Tropez this year on the recommendation of my beautician, although I'm not sure if she uses this exact product. I'd tried a high street branded mousse first but found it a bit messy. The first time I used it, I exfoliated and moisturised elbows and knees etc as usual, and washed it off after 2 hours as I was starting to look a bit orange. It all washed away with no results. I have fairly pale skin but thought 2 out of the 3 recommended hours would be a good first application. The second time, a few days later, I applied it at 6.30pm and left it overnight. This resulted in the glow I'd wanted. I have to say that it did last well. Starting to look a bit patchy after about a week, I scrubbed it all off and did another overnight application. This time with the same results as the first 2 hour application, zero colour after showering. I'm now doing another 3 hour application. It shouldn't be this much of a faff. Things I've learned: gel/lotion is better than mousse, since I can't apply it in the bathroom, and gel is easier to direct onto the glove than mousse; Fake Bake has a better guide colour that this gel; whatever product you use, it will end up smelling of biscuit, but this is one of the best; I actually prefer overnight treatments as it's awkward to fit it around other things during the day, and at the moment I'd rather be outside in my free time; to touch up hand, feet, and face, use a little on a wet brush, I just used a cheap wide, flat paintbrush I'd bought a while ago for face painting but never used. I do like the pump, the mousse I bought dribbled after use, but you can twist the top of this one and it stays really properly closed off. Hope someone finds this helpful.

This is the best self tan. I have used and i have tried many! Goes on easily and streak free with the use of a mit. Colour is natural and my friends never believe it is fake tan as it looks like my natural colour. It is dark as I have slightly olive skin. Does not come off on sheets either. Wouldn't use any other fake tan.

As described, genuine product at a great price. Have tried others but much prefer this fake tan.

Au vu du prix, TRES DECEVANT !! Le produit possède une forte odeur désagréable. Ensuite, malgré l'application du gel avec un gant specifique pour autobronzant, il ne fonctionne pas du tout même en respectant scrupuleusement le temps de pause. L'application est compliquée et il y a de nombreuses traces... BREF ce produit à fuir !!!! Pour avoir essayer la mousse autobronzantes de la même marque, ça n'a rien avoir, elle est beaucoup plus efficace et facile à appliquer..

BEST self tanner in the game- feels and looks like a chocolate syrup gel when you spread it out (which i actually like), dries minimally sticky and leaves the most gorgeous LONG LASTING and EVEN tan (not splotchy or streaky even on elbows and knees). Shes a TEN.

È più di un anno che uso questa marca di autoabbronzante, sono andato a comprarlo e non ha più un effetto schiumoso ma piuttosto un liquido tipo sciroppo, orribile da applicare e per di più con tantissimo prodotto si abbronza poco. Una volta era eccezionale, ma la sua nuova formula (se non era difettosa) è orribile

Application facile avec un gant mais des heures à sécher ! Au final j’ai laissé 3 heures afin d’avoir un bronzage intense… Grosse déception ! Bronzage à peine perceptible, tirant au jaune… Cher pour le résultat ! Il y a nettement mieux en grande surface ! Un bon point : s’il sent très fort l’autobronzant à l’application, après séchage on ne sent absolument plus cette odeur ! Je ne sais pas non plus combien de temps le peu de couleur que j’ai pris va tenir… Franchement je conseille vivement pour une blonde qui souhaite une couleur vraiment effet bronzé de prendre le produit pour peaux déjà foncées…
