Reasonably priced, good quality, must have one when repairing an AC system
After reading the reviews from several Amazon customers, I inspected the aluminum canister and I did find a small amount of shavings, I poured a couple of ounces of AC flushing solvent and rinsed it out. I would, if I could, give a 4.5 star review because of that. This flushing system, I found out, works best if you inject the flushing liquid in a few short bursts, then use compressed air to push the flushing solvent and contaminants out of the system.Keep in mind that you will need to provide the quick connect fitting to connect the flushing canister to your compressed air hose. Some reviewers, mentioned the rubber tip of the dispensing gun was too larga but it was okay for my 2003 Yukon XL truck.I recommend this product, and absolutely recommend to flush all AC lines and evaporator when repairing an AC system.I am satisfied with this flushing kit.

A must have for doing car AC work--Need a compressor though
Great product. Works perfectly. If you have a compressor, this is what you want to flush an ac system. Used it installing a new ac system on a lincoln navigator with rear ac. Just fill the bottle with your favorite flush solvent, connect to compressor, open the valve and your ready to flush. No problem flushing any of the lines. Even with the cost of this device, it was less expensive than buy prefilled aerosol cans. Use the Johnsen's flush solvent. The price is cheap, it works great, and evaporates quickly.I'm very glad I bought this.

Good for your average mechanic.
Good flush kit. Be careful it pushes a LOT of the solvent thru the ac system in a short amount of time. Before I knew it I had used up all the solvent. Wear eye protection! Despite my best efforts I ended up spraying the solvent everywhere (not the fault of this kit). I only needed to use this once - If I did this day in and day out I'd want something more substantial.

Fill tank with vinegar and food coloring (I chose blue because I didn't want to stain the lines with something weird like red).
I USED THIS AS A REFRIGERATOR WATER LINE CLEANER/FLUSH. Ok, I did not use this for its intended purpose, rather I filled it with vinegar and a few drops of blue food coloring. Wifey pumped the water out on the front side while I fed about 4-5 tankfulls from the other. Once the water came out blue on the wife's side we knew that our fridge was thoroughly filled with vinegar. Let it sit for a few hours or overnight then simply hook up your normal water line and replace your filter. Flush for about 3 days (kidding) or about 5-6 gallons until the water is perfectly clear. This allowed us to completely clean out the gunked up lines after we disconnected our fridge for about a week. The connection is as follows: Hook up air compressor to about 45 psi (equal to city water pressure) to the inlet. Fill tank with vinegar and food coloring (I chose blue because I didn't want to stain the lines with something weird like red). Pay attention as the tank will empty very quickly once your partner starts drawing water from the front side. I couldn't get a matching connection on the nozzle side, so I put a towel under it and pressed the rubber nozzle tip firmly into the intake. It did drip a little, but I was able to feed it into the fridge with relative ease. Be careful when releasing the pressure and opening the tank. Wear old clothes. Blue food coloring and vinegar will spray and mist around a bit. This was a great solution to our fridge's problem and one that I had to search for. I found this solution on some obscure forum, but I imagine there are many people like me who just want the gunk out of the lines without replacing all of the lines. Good luck. This works. And you'll be back to drinking ice cold crystal clear water in no time.

My ac works
I completely replaced my own ac system - all o-rings - dryer - compressor - Only thing i did not replace i used this to flush out - hoses - condenser - evaporator. A year later no leaks and 37 degrees out of vents last i checked. Thank God for youtube or I would be taking this to the mechanic 5 times a year. Ive done this with two different vehicles and im just a backyard mechanic so if you are a smart guy and purchase the right tools, it can be done yourself. Just be good to the environment and get the system empty b4 you begin. That being said doing nothing to fix and adding 10 cans a year would be worse than purging! Long as you actually get it fixed. Not that i recommend doing that just saying if you have a leak fix it and fix it correctly and really to do that on an older car you just need to replace everything and start over or you will be chasing leaks for the life of the car. We are a virus on this planet and the earth will be here long after we are all dead the corona virus is just another way nature is trying to correct itself - stop reproducing humans!!!! LOL Good luck to you all.

Good tool to have for different cleaning purposes.
Worked great. Just make sure to rinse the container because there are residual metal shavings probably from manufacturing. Use denatured alcohol if you don't want to spend too much to flush your system. Wish they included fittings for compressor. The O-ring seems like it will not last long.

Easy to use and very effective.
This was very easy to use and it worked quite well. I had no issues flushing out the a/c system I had to fix. With a good solvent (also by FJC), a lot of gunk came out of the system and left me with a good, clean system to install the new compressor and other parts to.
