Hands-down the best polish you can buy!
For several years I’ve had two antique brass fruits adorn my mantle. I’ve loved the style but have wanted to remove the stubborn tarnish that has built up over many years. I tried using traditional metal polish but everything was much too thick and couldn’t adequately shine the product. With this polish from Maas it was a simple job, taking all of ten minutes to bring out the beauty in this antique brass, and restore the fruit to its original luster. I like this product for several reasons, namely: 1. Optimal thickness - this polish is more like a heavy cream as opposed to a viscous semi-solid paste. It easily covers areas that are otherwise hard to fully coat. 2. Pleasant scent - this polish from Maas does not have the unpleasant smell like the silver polish you may be accustomed to. It was actually very nice, floral, and completely inoffensive. You can use this product easily in your kitchen or laundry room with no after-odor or lingering smells. 3. Fast results - with this product, there’s no need to wait for it to dry. Simply wipe it on, and buff it off. I used a paper towel to apply the initial coat. I used another paper towel to buff off the bulk of the tarnish. Just a few minutes was all that was required, super easy job - easiest polish I’ve ever worked with. Check out the picture I’ve shared - the results speak for themselves. If you are looking for a simple, easy to use polish and don’t want to spend your entire day endlessly buffing, try this! You won’t be disappointed, and your arms and hands will thank you! Hands-down the best polish you can buy!

The best polish I have ever used!!!
Have been using this product for over thirty years. It cleans all metals very well, even the ones you have to use a little "elbow grease" on. The finished cleaning will shine. No heavy odor to the cream. I use it on small antique items and a can will last a long time for me. I have never been disappointed by the results I get.

Amazing product
I started using this a decade or more ago (saw an ad on tv for). I have milked those 2 tubes along until my daughter needed, recently. Stuck without the cleaner, so relieved is now more readily available on Amazon. Packaging is different and quantity super sized, was skeptical it was really the same product? But, seems to do the trick and now using for my jewelry too - will get even more use out of it. Thank you Maas, I wish you continued success .

Good price for bulk savings, excellent cleaning/shining of pans
It can be difficult to really clean up stainless steel pans so that they become like shiny new pans again. Every once in a while, I like to give my pans that extra "clean-boost" and this product does that. For 1.1 lbs of product, it is expensive, but it should last a very long time (perhaps 2+ decades) and is cheaper in bulk with 1.1 lbs. This seems to be the only product of it's kind to clean as well as it does with pans (unless there is a very similar product out there I am not aware of).

Great on silver and copper!
Love this stuff! Its done a great job of shining up multiple things, and the hammered copper bar top has stayed looking great! For the bar top I used some salt and vinegar to get the 1st layer of patina off, then I hit it with Brasso. The Brasso did a good job but it had a really flat finish that I wasn't happy with. This stuff put the shine and reflection back in it! If I had to do it again, I would start with this stuff. I think it would work fine and it doesn't take long to use. To get a large surface very shiny, plan to put in a bit of elbow grease, but you don't need much product. This can is going to last me years for sure. The set of vintage sterling silver cuff links, also pictured on this review, had 30 years of patina on them at least. I found them in my parents' attic and thought they were hilarious so they let me keep them. I decided to try this stuff on silver too, and pictured here is the 1st one polished, next to the one I haven't done yet. (Those were my great aunt's initials. I don't think the 2nd meaning registered with her at all when she had them made back in like the 50s. 😂)

Good But Not Great
I bought MAAS Metal Polish after reading all the glowing reviews here on Amazon. The high price put me off, but I thought it would be worth it if it's as good as other users say. My pictures show the item that I cleaned first, an Art Nouveau brass water pitcher dating to around 1910, before and after. It was quite dull and oxidized when I bought it, and it was clear that it had been used to heat up water over the years. I used the microfiber cloth that came along with the polish, even though I didn't like the feel of all manmade fiber against my skin. I spent an hour cleaning this brass pitcher, a lot of rubbing to get the tarnish off. The discolored part around the neck of the interior didn't change one bit after using this product on it, which I found disappointing. I washed the pitcher afterwards with soap and water to remove all of the polish. You have to do this, even though no one mentioned it in their reviews, especially if you're cleaning any article that comes in contact with food. I also used this polish on a silverplated statue, and it didn't remove the tarnish. It was as dull when I finished polishing it as when I first started. It says on the label not to use it on anything that's plated, but I wanted to try it anyway. This is NOT a miracle product that's going to clean your tarnished items without a lot of elbow grease. I was expecting it to be better than this because of the high price and the reviews I read. I've only used it on two items so far, but I'll continue using it. The smell is slightly unpleasant, so I would recommend using it outside or in a room with the window open. Maybe I was expecting too much from this product, but based on my experience, I'm not sure that I would buy it again.

Great professional shine!
Been using this stuff for over a decade. I use it as one of the final steps in restoring/polishing antique knives and straight razors for my side business. It's thick enough that you can even cut it with a bit of water to gain an extra level of shine if you're really going for an insane mirror finish. I also use it to polish the wife's antique silver dinning/serving trays and accessories. Whether proper sterling silver or plated, this is good enough to shine things up quick but gentle enough to not rub through the plating on plated items. A little goes a long way even without cutting it. This size container should last you close to a lifetime unless you're using it professionally.
