Are they microwavable? Really need to know.

I bought these to help my brother who has Parkinson’s Disease. I chose these over special plates because they are not bulky and because they allow my brother to use the same dishes that my husband and I use. It is easy to clip them onto our dinner plates and he can push the food up against them to make it easier to get it on his fork. There are fewer accidents where he pushes his food onto the table or into his lap.

Worked good and good quality - the plastic bends and is not fragile or breakable. Keeps dads food on his plate at the assisted living.

This has helped my partner so much with eating. The food doesn't end up on the table, and it reduces a lot if frustration It's so simple, but very effective. It's easy to put on and take off the plate, and cleans up easily. Definitely recommend this

These are OK, but I find that anything with sauce will create a mess on the table underneath. They work better with thicker plates, I have had them pop off of our thin glass ones. I prefer plates with the plate guard built in.

My mom was on hospice and had severe arthritis. She couldn't maneuver her silverware very well and would often shove her food off the back of the plate. This little gadget fit on ALL of our plates and made eating much more enjoyable instead of frustrating. 10 out of 10!!! I put them on the top rack of the dishwasher and they went through just fine.

Ordered 23 August, the box of 2 plate guards arrived on 27 August 2024 & has proven to be helpful for my blind husband. The guards fit nicely on our plates & do help him avoid spills while eating. What was peculiar was that this morning (30 August) I received a sealed, padded envelope containing only what appears to be the picking docket for the plate guards. No idea why the guards & the docket were shipped separately!
