When this sub came in there was a label on the shipping package that said "Team lift". So, yes, this sub is super heavy. I also got a box to go with it (70 lbs.) and it takes up the space in the back of my 98 Blazer. It's not even broke in yet and when the really low bass hits, my roof and doors flex! I have a Rockford Fosgate class D 1000 watt (rms) mono block amp to push it. When you buy this sub you will be paying for quality and massive bass, not the brand name (like JL Audio). Make sure you have all the right gauge wire sizes that it specifies. I just bought a Rockford Fosgate 400w 4 channel amp to power my door speakers and tweaters because the bass drownds most of the highs out. I have'nt hooked up the 400w yet but when I do and the sub breaks in I can finally kick that bad boy into high gear! Over all, this is the best BOOM for your buck. 52% off original price. Was still in factory box with factory seals, perfect condition. When you go with Rockford Fosgate, you wont ever look at any other brands. HIGHLY recommended. Go get it!!

Was going great for the first while. After break in the aluminum voice coil melted right out of it without blowing the silly fuses that are built into the speaker. I wouldnt recommend this speaker to anyone who plays loud. Manufacturer ruind the design by placing small speaker leads internally connected to the fuses. My old aluminum face t1 15"s laster 10+yrs and these didnt last 3 months. Nearly burned my car. Dissapointment. Also dont expect easy replacement as this company deosnt replace they only offer refund.

I wasn't happy with my 2 Boston acoustics G12 subs so I tried this single 15 sub. I like the sound quality of this 15 better than the G12s, and It does hit with more authority. So i like it better for SPL and SQ. I'm running a 900 watt alpine mono amp just for this one sub BTW.

Awesome subwoofer. But it burned up and it was the only one out of the 4 have installed. You fingered I spent a lot of money on my system. And you can't get a rebuild kit for the T1D215. But they sell one for all of the other ones. I can't send it back because I didn't send the warranty slip. Because If I have a problem I'll just order a kit and rebuild it myself.

Never cared for Rockford subs until I owned this one. This is a great SQL driver, I have never heard kick drums sound so good with so much impact and tight. It will play low with ease as most 15's will do but it handles fast beats pretty well for a 15 I have it in a 3.10net custom enclosure with a 6" PSP port tuned to 33hz I designed and built on a Rockford P1000X1D and I am pretty sure it can take more power if its clean. Never have I smelt coil. Sure there are better drivers and louder drivers but if you are going to play actual music this on is a go to

These things sounded okay at first. Within 3 months I have blown both speakers each with a Rockford Fosgate power 1500 bdcp. I can't believe they only made it 3 months and one blew within a day of the other one. Very disappointed for such an expensive speaker. I'm not even going to get them repaired I'm going to throw them in the garbage I just got it some audiopipes that sound better than these overpriced magnets

I bought this along with a lanzar max pro 4000 watt amp witch works perfectly because this woofer peaks at 2000 watts at 2 ohms and the amp runs at 2000 watts at 2 ohms and its also 2 ohm stable! its almost like it was made for it. make sure you go with some quality 0 gauge wires with it and 12 gauge speaker wires. you couldn't ask for cleaner bass thats loud but still doesnt distort the audio! i also have a labyrinth box with a power port so you really get those lows. i love this thing!
