Best Pop Punk Album Ever
Pop punk is supposed to be catchy and fun. Death By Television is definately both. The lyrics will have you singing to yourself all day, and the riffs are absolutely amazing. This is also a very solid album. It is hard to skip any tracks. A must buy for anyone who listens to Teenage Bottlerocket or anyone who listens to pop punk for that matter.

Compact Disc with Subliminal Messages
Finally, I get to Review this release'Death By Television'... Let us describe the song'i Need some Brain damage'. The song speaks to you. The first lines are "Do you wanna wake up at 6:15?? You wanna Go to work at the DairyQueen?? This message Sounds familar, as it refers to us being the "working slaves" that we are. Next is track 2'Dont trust the Humanoids(words like: They'll stab you in the back). It sounds like the singer is preaching to everyone but using different words. It is hilarous. Track 3'Black hole in my Mind'gives a warning of suicide. Track 6' would have been the perfect opening song for the movie "Mars Attacks". The song is that Good. The Lillingtons are creative and they made this release one of a Kind. The pace is quick and packed with strong feeling. If there were ever a CD with subliminal messages, This would be it.

Absolutely awesome
This is definitely one of my favorite albums of all time. Its simplicity makes it that much greater. Maybe it's because I always took huge influence on what I called "good" music at the time when this record came out. But the songs are just clean and fun. Quality of audio is superb for an independent act.

One of the most essential punk records in recent years...
It's simply amazing. Not to say this band is more relevant than the Ramones, but the Ramones never had a single record better than this one. That's quite a statement, I know, but "Death By Television" has one great song after another, no low points. Sadly, they aren't too active anymore, but the members carry on in Teenage Bottlerocket. An awesome band in their own right.

This was recommended to me as "one of the best albums I've heard in a while." I listened to a couple of tracks, liked them, bought the album and now I'm saying the same thing, except that I'd say this is one of the best albums I have ever heard. It has the simplicity of the Ramones, except with good production and much better consistency. The vocal hooks and the guitar production are what really drive this recording though. It's all ridiculously catchy. It's no-nonsense punk-pop with amusing sci-fi inspired lyrics. If you like any of Green Day, Ramones, Gob or Blink 182, chances are you'll really like this album.
