I’ve tried a lot of chews for my small, very picky Shih Tzu puppy (around 7 pounds), and these are hands down her favorite. Safety tip: I highly recommend using a bully stick holder — especially for small dogs — so they can’t swallow the last piece. It makes a big difference and gives peace of mind. My 2 month old puppy absolutely loved these during his teething phase. They kept him occupied for a good amount of time and seemed to help calm him down when he was feeling extra bitey or restless. I also like that the sticks are extra thin, which made them a better size for a young puppy. The bag comes with a good amount of sticks for the price, so it feels like a great value. Definitely something I plan to keep on hand as he grows.

Our dog is 4lbs and these are a great size for her. She’s obsessed. I never let her eat the whole thing or leave her with it unattended. They’re pretty thin and seems like a hazard. Again, recommend full supervision for a dog under 30lbs no matter what you buy. Our 40lbs dog eats the normal size ones in about ~1 hour. It would take her days but it seems safer.

My dog loves these. A bit expensive, but worth it. Excellent alternative to rawhide.

Wow, my little chi loves these, and she's the pickiest dog ever! She used to love to chew rawhide, but when I found out how bad they are for dogs, I quit giving them to her. I was worried these wouldn't last very long, but they keep her busy for quite awhile. Definitely buying again!

These are the only bully sticks I’ve found that my Maltese can actually handle. The thickness is just right for a small breed, and they are long-lasting enough to keep her occupied for a good 15–20 minutes. I love that they are natural and don't have that chemically smell some other brands have. They’ve been great for keeping her distracted while I’m working or when we have guests over. High quality and clearly very tasty based on how excited she gets!

My little BABYGIRL, Beagle/JR Terrier mix, 6 years old (adopted at 4 weeks of age). absolutely loves these. In fact she won’t chew/eat any other kind. I love the fact that they only have ONE ingredient “Beef Pizzle” sourced from free range cattle not fed antibiotics and definitely not Rawhide, no preservatives, no dyes, no added xtra’s just pure Beef Pizzle. They have a very distinct smell which most people don’t like. In fact if these bully sticks don’t have that distinct smell, she won’t touch them and she has to have the xtra thin. Bought some larger ones but she didn’t like, she only hid them. The xtra thin she chews like crazy. She’ll have one eaten in about 15 min. so i usually give her 2 since they are so small, smaller than the size of a pencil. They are very digestible and of course I watch her too. I’ve been feeding her these for several years. The quality has changed dramatically !! As you can tell from the photos they are very distorted. The edges are frayed and sharp spikes and big knots. I’ve had to throw away over half of them because I was afraid she would choke. I’ve bought over 16 bags in the past 6 months and each bag gets a little worse. If the seller happens to see this review I hope they will send me a good bag, like they’re supposed to be, thin and relatively smooth, not all distorted. I will probably still buy them since she loves them so much. I’ll just have to go thru bag and pick out the ones she can chew which usually is just 3 or 4. A waste of money I know but she’s my baby and she loves them so much.

I have small dogs, and these work perfectly for them. Large chews will make them sick. I'll be buying again.
