MOJO Outdoors Wind Dove Spinning Wing Decoy

Works as described at bringing in those birds on days with a little wind. I have used a couple of these by themselves and had dove coming in that otherwise would have just flew by. Come with everything you need to get it set up either on a fence line or in the ground. Not as reliable as battery powered because they do nothing without wind but on the flip side you don't need batteries. Built pretty solid and will get many seasons out of them IF you don't shoot them during the hunt. Will buy more.

I was hunting public game land and ordered this decoy not knowing whether or not motorized decoys were allowed. In hindsigght I wish I had went ahead and got the motorized decoy. This one is nice but it seems to need a bit more wind than I like to get the wings spinning. However, if a non motorized decoy is all you are allowed this one is one of the most lifelike and will do nicely.

Worked great. Dove kept trying to land right next to the decoy. Couldn't shoot a couple because they were so close to the decoy and well, frankly I can't eat the decoy. The only complaint I have is the birds were dropping in so low I couldn't see them until they were almost landing. It drew the birds in that is for sure. I haven't taken it out on a still day yet but it was working in 5-8 mph. Plenty good for me.

Got mine the other day later in the evening and didnt have a chance to use it. This morning I set it out with a little breeze and positioned it just right and got the wings turning. In a matter of less than a minute the dove where doing "fly bys" on it for a closer look then commenced to land right beside it and stayed. I am thrilled with the realistic look with it as well and the quality of work behind the construction of the dove was great as well. I am looking forward to taking my dove decoys out this weekend for the last weekend of dove and truely putting them to the test, I know I will not be let down seeing what they can do first hand this morning.

These are very good quality. I am a new dove hunter and bought these for my first dove hunt this fall. I can't say how well they bring doves though, because there were no doves anywhere in the field where I went dove hunting the first time. I am sure they will work great to bring doves in closer when I am actually in a location that has some.

Not sure about this. I’ve only had the opportunity to set them up once but it wasn’t windy so the wings obviously did nothing. A side note and a bit annoying the set screw for the wings likes to fall out at very inconvenient times like when you’re packing up. The set screw is black and small very hard to find if you do drop it. I will update this if I get to use them in a situation with wind high enough to make them functional.
