These strings sound beautiful. Just what you need to make a budget guitar sound expensive. I've had the non-titanium ones before, and they're pretty good, but there's just something about these ones that has a deeper, warmer sound. They are well worth the extra cost. If you're on the fence, just get them!

I have had these on my Godin Classical guitar for almost two years and am now replacing them with the same. And it's not because they sound like they need to be replaced. The best thing about them is that there are no string issues that get in the way of playing. The strings do their job well, the sound is strong and clear and the feel is good. Put these on and all you have to do is play.

Steel or nylon, for guitar, bass, uke and mandolin, I have been a faithful D'Addario fan for decades. Consistent quality and excellent customer service make them my first choice for instrument strings. This set produces a milder tone on my maple-back classical.

I've been using Augustine strings on my Ovation 1763 for years. Thought I'd try these for a change. And change it is, I now have a different sound, with mellower trebles and brighter basses. After 3 days the strings have settled, and I like the sound, particularly those trebles. They are not as bright as I'm used to (I play Bach, mostly), but, hey, change is good sometimes. Definitely worth the money.

I don't really ever write reviews, but I wanted to make sure I did for this product. I've tried most of the normal strings from daddario. I wasn't getting that projection I was desiring. Plus, the strings would go bad pretty quickly. Since then, I've gotten a dehumidifier (mini) and these strings, and I must say the guitar sounds like it was injected with steroids. The brightness and projection gives you a sense of positivity. I never really understood the differences between strings until I changed them to this. Now, I understand how strings can give such a more profound projection and brightness. I'll update this if anything changes. In conclusions, these are my favorite strings so far, but I think my next move will be the carbon strings by them and compare.

I ordered these strings to replace the old ones on our kids' guitar. I (and my 9 year old daughter!) like the "softness" of the strings; they definitely feel like they will be easier on little (and beginner's) fingers, and the sound quality is great. HOWEVER it kills me to drop stars but the E string is messed up! :( I seriously hope it's just defective on mine... but I barely get it tuned up to the pitch of the B string... and it suddenly drops. Every. Single. Time. So seriously bummed about this! I was looking forward to starting to teach my daughter to play, now I have to wait until I can find a replacement for this BRAND NEW STRING. I love D'Addario's products. And I just replaced my violin strings with a set of D'Addario strings, and they sound great. But I am really bummed out over this set back. Sigh.

I'll start with what I like about these strings. The strings wound in metal reach note stability really really quickly. The tension is just right for me. It has an easy action while not feeling sloppy under the fingers. Also the strings are very nice to play with nails, just gliding. The low E string comes with less wire around the lower part making stringing up easier (see in picture 2) The sound quality it very nice (although the G string isn't my favourite). The lower notes have a nice sizzle to the and nice 'n' sweet on the upper strings. Very balanced sound. Things I'm not so keen on!! Apart from the low E string, these strings are a pain to string up. Like slippery eels! The G string can sound a bit tubby sometimes (although that common with most strings). The upper 3 strings take a while to settle. So if you're playing a concert, string up with plenty of time to break them in. Over all they're great strings. Takes some time to set up but it's worth it in my opinion
