Works good, and seems quality. Big box store didn't have a 5'' so I'm glad i found it here.

Perfect!
Fit my stack perfectly. My stack has a bit of a rim a few inches down that this cap sits nicely on. Very snug, but I added a couple of stainless machine screws anyway. I like the gasket as well. Better protection against rain in the stack. No caulking needed..and no more birds!

Work as discribed.
The cover does not look like the description but it works fine.It is shorter than the picture. It fit fine inside the pipe tight. We have high winds so I put a screw through the pipe and cover to keep it in place. Also painted it black to match the pipe and absorb heat from the sun hoping to keep it from freezing. I would recommend the vent cover

Not the size advertised
Had this cap installed, however, it was a very loose fit. It was said to be for a 6" stove pipe,but it measured only 5 1/2", needless to say even placing it into the pipe of roof, when a big wind came up it landed 200 feet away. I put duct tape around it to increase the diameter, to be yet installed. Hopefully this make up for the inadequate sizing stated upon purchase.
