I’m genuinely impressed with the Comgrow Filament Dryer Box. This thing has completely transformed the consistency of my prints. The large internal storage is perfect — it easily fits two 1kg spools, and I love that it works with both 1.75mm and 2.85mm filaments, including PLA and ABS. The transparent design makes it easy to monitor everything at a glance. The temperature and timer settings are straightforward and reliable. Once you set your drying temp and duration, the box maintains a steady environment that keeps filament perfectly dry throughout long prints. Before using this, I struggled with moisture‑related issues like stringing and poor adhesion. Now my prints come out cleaner, smoother, and far more consistent. The spool holder and feed‑through design make it super convenient to print directly from the dryer, and the build quality feels solid and dependable. It’s clear Comgrow put real thought into usability and performance. If you’re serious about 3D printing, this dryer box is absolutely worth it. I am new to 3D printing and I found out within a week that drying your filament gives best results when printing. So decided to get this budget friendly dryer!! Two spools of filament fit in there nicely. They have 4 holes with optional plugs to keep moisture out when not using. I open them when drying to let moisture escape. You can also leave them in the box and pull the filament through the top or side holes and feed directly into your printer which worked perfectly! Settings were very simple - temperature and timer. LED screen is backlit for ease of reading in the dark! Seemed to really do the trick when I realized my PLA filament was humid. Stuck it in the dryer overnight and the prints came out super smooth again. So it makes a huge difference - lesson learned by a newbie! Overall, I'm satisfied with this budget friendly dryer. So far, it does what it's supposed to. Be careful setting it on sensitive surfaces as the bottom does get hot. I set mine on a cork trivet!

Great product—it works exactly as described. The price was also fair and very reasonable.

So I originally gave a bad rating due to it not working, But later found it to be the outlet. So I wanted to fix my review. It still doesn't get above 50c. So it's not the best filament dryer, but it does work. And is at a great price point.

Edit: Seller contacted me and confirmed that the fan needed replacement and will be sending a new fan to swap with the bad one. Changing to 5 stars for fast service and a good unit that just has a bad fan. If you get this I would also pick up a cheap pack of 4010 12 volt fans so you can easily replace the fan, or just wait for the service response. The fan is just below the supports with 4 screws in deep pockets and the connector is held in with hot glue. This unit is good to dry out two 1kg rolls of filament at the same time and you can even feed the filament directly out of the unit into your extruder. The touch controls are a bit unintuitive but are quick to navigate as it is a very simple device, but effective. It is great for hydroscopic filament like PETG and is great to throw new rolls in just to make sure they are properly dry before first use! Bought this unit in April of 2023 and it is now Jan of 2024 and the fan now only makes an angry buzzing/growl noise with intermittent screeches. This unit was good while it lasted, but the fan is an extremely cheap choice for a heated chamber. I'm tempted to see if I can access the fan and do a fan swap and see if that fixes the issue.

This dryer box works well for its intended use. It will take time to get your filament as dry as you need to be able to print, probably a couple days if it is very humid. The moisture will start to collect on the inside of the dryer, but open it every couple hours to wipe it out and let the humidity escape. The rubber seals are not friendly to the filament. They cause friction and will impede the flow of the filament causing the extruder to skip. I solved this by installing bowden tube fittings to the outlet of the dryer and running a length of bowden tube to the printer. The filament flows much more smooth. There is room in the dryer for 2 normal sized rolls of filament. You can run the filament straight to your printer while drying another roll for your next job. Or you can use it to run two printers at the same time. Overall very satisfied

It's mostly exactly what you would expect from the listing. However, I'm taking away 2 stars: -1 star for the price relative to the quality and performance and -1 star because the moisture seal is ineffective due to poor design. The box has a gasket channel but the gasket is too small and the lid does not make contact with the gasket at all. So there is a small opening around the entire perimeter which easily lets moisture in over time.

This filament dryer is pretty great for the price. It's actually saved a few of my spools from failing to print or just stringing due to moisture, so I can definitely say it works. The interface takes a little time to figure out, but it's not too complicated, and the instructions are very clear. It doesn't feel like any kind of high quality product, though. You definitely get that "cheap, light plastic" feel when you're using it, but for the price it's hard to complain, especially since you don't exactly need to add extra thickness/weight where it's not needed anyways. I do wish this had a specific spot to put dessicant packets though, as that could help with filament drying, and they're not clear about if you could put dessicant packets in the base of the unit or not. I've only used this for PLA filaments so far, but considering it worked for those, I have no doubts it would work for other filament types such as TPU as well.

The Comgrow PLA White Filament is my go-to choice for 3D printing. It's reliable and prints smoothly, whether I'm working on functional parts or creative projects. I've found that using filament from the same company that made my printer ensures the best results. The filament diameter is consistent, which helps prevent jams, and it sticks well to the print bed without warping. The spool is well-packaged, too, so I've never had issues with tangling. Overall, it's a solid option if you're looking for high-quality PLA filament that won't break the bank

Muito pequeno (no bom sentido) aquece rápido e mantém o filamento seco mesmo durante a impressão. Só não é hermético e não serve para armazenar o filamento por muito tempo. Aparentemente (e é como vou usar) vai servir para secar os filamentos antes de guardá-los em uma caixa hermética com dessecante e vou usar para impressões longas, para manter o filamento seco durante horas e horas. Super silencioso, estou tentando comprar outro para meu AMS Lite, mas não encontro mais o mesmo preço!

Da un acabado liso satinado, no hay problemas de warping o de obstrucción del HotEnd, me gustó mucho más que los filamentos de acabado mármol
