I am ordering a second 14x12. I ordered a different brand that is flat and a little smaller than this one. This one works best for knee replacement surgery. It covers the top of the knee and two side panels that drape down the sides of the knee. It stays put better than flat ones. I also noticed this one stays cold longer than the flat ones I ordered. It also stays cold longer than the flat ones the hospital let us take home.

My girlfriend Is undergoing procedures that leave her sore afterwards over a large area. This ice pack is perfect, it stays flexible and cold for a long time. Flexible enough to work in any area. Very happy

I really like the gel pack. I have several herniated discs in my back in separate locations. There are some days where all I can do is just lay on an ice pack and wish for some relief. This ice pack has been life changing for me. Before this all I could find were small ice packs. I had to make a choice. Am I going to deal with my thoracic spine or my lumbar spine? I would have to decided what hurt the worst and ice that first. This gel pack is very large. I am able to lay on it and ice my entire back at once. I store it in the freezer and it stays nice and cold. I like that it has gel in it because it is still flexible when its frozen. I don't have to lay on any hard lumps. It nicely smooths out and conforms to where I need it. This is a winner. I did receive a discount in exchange for my honest review.

This is the third hot/cold pad I've bought this past week, and the first one I'm not returning. Also, it is the least expensive of the three. I sat in a chair, put it on my back, leaned against it, and finally some relief. The gel inside doesn't sink to the bottom, as the rice in the first one did. The second one had straps that were supposed to hold it in place, but slid down when I stood up. I knew this one was not suitable for wearing, so I did not deduct a star for that. The only negative for this one is it doesn't stay hot very long, and I wish it was available in a longer size. I am happy though. It works pretty good and cost half of the first one and a third of the second one I tried. Not fancy, but it works.

It stays cold a good long time, easily long enough for the recommended 20 minute alternation of hot and cold for sprains and sore muscles. This one seems very strong as far as the outer shell, much better than the one I've had for years... I ordered this for my Dad after he strained a glute muscle and was trying to use a little tiny cold pack. This baby fits the bill and should last many many years... seems to be of excellent quality and I waited until we had over a months use to based the review upon.

I have a bad lower back and use this as an ice pack. It’s very comfortable to use and holds cold for as long as I’d like. So glad I purchased it.
