These are just like what I used to buy in the grocery store to make fruit cakes with. Just what I needed. Good flavor.

These are an essential part of one of my family’s favorite cookies. Mom always called them “Whiskey Cookies “ because they have a cup of whiskey in them. My parents didn’t drink so I guess it was a big deal. The red candied cherries were not available in Charleston, Weather Virginia for the last couple of years. I can always count on Amazon and the Paradise brand. The delivery was timely even with the holidays and snow. Paradise is the preferred brand that my mom used for many years. I suspect Paradise generated the recipe and that’s why she wouldn’t use anything else. It’s quality you can always count on.

I used these in and on my holiday fruitcakes. They were firm and not over-coated, so were easy to cut up. The color was good (a bright red) and they were fresh and tasty, so ended up putting fewer on the tops of my fruitcakes than planned, sorry friends and family!

These are far too expensive for the amount you receive.

Delicious and important part of my Christmas cake.Will purchase again.
