THINKSCALE Digital Milligram Scale, 50g/0.001g Powder Scale with Cal Weight

Solid scale! One thing that I’d like to remind everyone as a scientist is that precision and accuracy are two different things. While the scale may be precise down to 0.001 g, that doesn’t mean it’s accurate to 0.001 g. From my observations, it seems to be accurate at about +/- ~5 mg. That’s really good for a scale of this price. If you do need a scale that is accurate to a single milligram, then you really need a scale that goes down to 0.0001 g. Always go a digit below what you need because the last digit is sorta like the scale’s educated guess. If you’re okay at getting things accurate down to 10 mg, then this scale is perfect. If you want to measure single milligrams, then this scale is probably not going to fit the bill. The only issue I do want to point out is that the manufacturer listed the accuracy at +/- 1 mg, which is absolutely not the true accuracy. However, it is a random Chinese scale, so the expectations should be low to begin with. Overall though, good scale. It’s not winning any premium material awards or breaking any precision and accuracy records, but it is a solid scale given the price. If you need to measure anything at the accuracy of as low as +/- 10 mg, then this scale will fit your needs. It is portable too, which is nice especially when considering lab milligram scales are often bulky and have wind guards. It’s nice to have something close to what I can get in the lab but on the go. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done and it really isn’t that bad compared to what I get in the lab. In the lab, our scales can often jump wildly and never settle in on a final weight. They can be quite fiddly too and require constant rebalancing. In that regard, this scale is actually better. Take that with a grain of salt though.

Great milligram scale! It is accurate, easy to calibrate, and simple to use. The display is clear and easy to read, and the scale provides consistent measurements every time. Excellent value for the price and works exactly as expected.

I purchased this milligram scale to weigh my gold scrap, and I was impressed with its accuracy. I tested it against my old scale, and both gave the exact same results. What I like most is its compact size, making it easy to carry wherever I need it. The quality is very good it feels wellmade and doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s lightweight, looks professional, and is very presentable. The price is reasonable and affordable for the quality you get. Overall, it has performed exactly as expected and is worth every dollar I paid.

Small and pocket sized ! Easy to carry around ect ! But for around $20 some issues are to be expected like the scale weight not changing until you add a lot to it which if your looking for precise ultra sensitive weighing you might want to reconsider to something abit more costly as you *can* get it to weight out very small measurement of 10mg> (which I was looking to play around with 1-9mg)but you just have to add something onto the weight (like a coin or a playing card) first then proceed to measure out your stuff of choosing (on top of card or coin lol)But it doesn't detect small amounts at first so yeah other than that it's easy to clean , it's something cheap that can be worked around , not bad of quality and can be to measure out lots of small stuff 😏!

It works well for its small and precise and measurements. It is compact, easy to setup and use, and the tare function is sensitive and convenient. Display led is clear and the tray and spoon are useful. The case secured the device very well when not in use. Calibration is simple and easy. The unit is informative. Everything is worth the price.

The skill is extremely accurate, easy to toad around, and the price is unbeatable.. Yeah I highly recommend this product.. 2 thumbs WAY UP 👍👍

It's great but is just for small weight. If you want to get from 0.001 to 0.1, you'll need to buy another one

It's small and compact, however the little dish has to be stored separately. The scale works well, but you need to be careful not to bump the surface the scale is on. I also found that you need to make sure the battery compartment is completely closed. I thought I had it completely closed, but the scale rocked thereby messing up the readings. Flipped the scale over on noticed the battery compartment wasn't completely closed. It clicks when the lid is fully in place. Also would be nice if this had a storage case. I gave 4 stars because the dish is made for right-handed people. What about a dish for left-handed people?

Really impressed with this little scale. It's compact but feels surprisingly accurate and sensitive, especially when measuring very small amounts where a regular kitchen scale isn't precise enough. I like that it comes with a calibration weight and the display is easy to read. Switching between units is simple and measurements seem consistent as long as I use it on a flat, stable surface. The included cover is also useful for keeping the weighing surface protected when I'm not using it. For the price, it's a handy little precision scale and does exactly what I needed it for.

I had tanita before.... But now after using this for a while I can tell you other big man out there.... this is more accurate than My old tanita.... No more to say...
