I was using it on myself do to the explosion of mosquitoes and biting midges in So Ca. The midges are very aggressive and not much actually deters them. So for me it would need more pyrethrin. It does work so I gave it 4 stars

Works very well on my horse’s face
Swat works so great if you put it on a rage or rub it into your hands and then rub it into your horses face, muzzle, under the throat latch and in and around the ears. I also put it on his belly and between his legs, wherever it’s hard to spray fly repellent.
