I strung all 66 feet of the two strings on my 7 foot tall patio board fence, wrapping the wire tightly around one-inch brass brads I nailed into the stringers. It's about 17 feet of fence. The installation is almost invisible during daytime. After sundown, they work perfectly, and the patio that was dark at night now looks like party town when I switch these babies on. I didn't have any problem with tangles, but I could see that if I didn't take a fairly long, careful time to unroll the strings to plan installation, then they could get tangled. In the end, I had no problem, and even a couple of crimps were easily straightened out before final wrapping of the wire around the nails. I am surprised by the strength and versatility of the copper wire and how easily these tightly wrap around the nail shank. The timer is said to be an 8-hour timer on the directions, so I have no use for the timer as I never need to leave these on that long. So far, after a week of turning them on a couple/three hours each night, they show no decrease in brightness, so the battery life appears to be acceptable, to me at least. I use the bargain Amazon AA batteries. The battery case looks fairly waterproof, but to be sure I slipped both cases into one-quart plastic freezer bags for further protection. I am one hundred percent satisfied with this purchase so far, and the results of my application look professional to my eye. For 20 bucks my patio now looks like I paid 20 times that amount to have an electrician install an expensive lighting system that makes my main warm-weather party space welcoming and festive. UPDATE October 2025-- Wrote this review above after I installed them in spring 2023. After 3 summers (and Mid-Atlanti winters), these are still in place and working like they did the first day I turned them on. It's amazing. The battery packs are apparently completely waterproof as they have been outdoors the whole time with no problems. The battery life is superb. I haven't had to put new batteries (3 AAs for each string) more than twice a season. I'm back now to buy another string for outdoor holiday lighting this Fall/Winter.

These lights were perfect for our small decorative bushes on our front porch. We used them for Halloween. They were the perfect brightness.

This box set contained two, 100 light sets. There were two remote controls batteries included, which is always a fantastic benefit, and for ease of use they came on two small white wheels so you could unroll them quickly and easily. All lights work with no issues. The remote control is easy to use and has many settings. I also appreciate the timer option on the remote control. I use these Lights on installations of photo backdrops such as floral walls and pipe and drape. The fairy pack light themselves does not come with Any batteries and You need three AAA batteries for Each set of 100 lights. The really handy part is the guide on the front of the box that is numbered one through nine that tells you what each of the corresponding remote control program settings relates to.

ove these lights. The wire is thin enough to be hidden in projects. Definitely fairy lights, light weight & can manipulate them into project.

Hello. Lights are beautiful. However, I am looking to resolve two issues with my order. One box contained only one light and one light does not work. I am not sure how to reach out to customer service. Thanks for your assistance.

While the lights were very nice the remote control devices for both strands were at best sketchy and did not work every time as they should. I should have requested a Refund and bought another set. They looked great when lit so giving them 3 stars (being generous with my Stars)

I bought these for my DIY Halloween fire pit but was sceptical they would work because they were so small, but they worked great for what I needed! They have different settings so it actually looks like real embers burning! I love them!

Very dim. I got these for the back of Halloween cutouts, at max brightness you couldn't see them unless the cutout was leaned against the house, if it was standing in the yard you couldn't tell there were lights. I'm sure they would work for smaller decorative items though.

Quedaron lindas en mi pinito, usé dos, me gustó que pude esconder la caja de las baterias dentro del pino y no se veia cable alguno. Le bajo una estrella porque como pueden notar en la foto, la serie de abajo se nota mas apagada a pesar de que las baterías tenian la misma carga, ya no supe como solucionar eso. Y sí se les acaba muy rápido la batería, van perdiendo el brillo, usé baterías recargables de Amazon.
