Is it need WiFi internet connection to record video?

No. The cameras connect directly to the NVR unit via 2.4ghz wireless to record footage without internet connectivity. You only need an internet connection to connect the NVR unit if you want to remotely view the camera footage via the Eseecloud to app.

Can this system be programmed to only record movement

Yes, Log in and select Record Set up tab. Clear the default setting of all time by carefully dragging a yellow frame from top left to bottom right, from Sun morning to Sat night. Then making sure the yellow frame is still in place select Motion and Apply.

where does it record when you turn off monitor

Thanks for your question The PTZ camera can only auto tracking and distinguish the people, can't distinguish the vehicles. So it can support auto tracking the movement of any object or only auto tracking the movement people.
