Love these!
These bait traps are amazing! They really work. This is not a paid or robotic review. They really do work. I have tried other traps, which have failed miserably. These, on the other hand, work within just a few days. I recommend putting the trap exactly where the ants enter your house and clean with cleaning products everywhere else. This way, you can eliminate the scent trails of the ants and encourage them to go straight for the bait, which they see as food. Once they get the food, the entire colony should disappear within days. Also, keep them away from kids and pets. My idiot cat tried playing with one of them. The only drawback is that the liquid nature of the bait, while HIGHLY effective, can spill easily. Be careful when setting it up and put it somewhere that is very unlikely to be bumped. Otherwise, the bait will spill out of the container. My ants were coming in near the kitchen window, so I hid mine behind the blinds. This way, my kids and cats don't know it is there and it never spilled. They are great deterrents as well. I keep mine there just in case they try to come back.

Effective, simple, and a little messy
Terro ant baits are a go-to solution for tackling ant problems quickly and effectively. These liquid bait stations attract ants, who then carry the poison back to their colony, helping to eliminate the problem at its source. They're easy to use—just place them along ant trails and let them do the work. You’ll often see a swarm of ants around the bait at first, which can be a bit off-putting, but that’s a good sign the product is working. The only downside is the liquid can sometimes leak if not handled carefully. Overall, they’re a simple, reliable choice for indoor ant control.

TWO DAYS... POOF... GONE!!!
I have never used an ant trap before, but when I saw these tiny moving ants walking in a perfect line from my front door to my kitchen, under the baseboard, I knew I had to do something. I tried for 2 days to vacuum them, but they kept appearing. Then I did the black pepper all around the front door and they didn't seem to care about that either. I also used a citrus cleaner to remove the ANT LINE that they were marching in to get in my house. Those methods all FAILED. Once I saw them on my countertops, it was war. I purchased these ant traps. There are 4 in a box and I only used 2. I found them to be hard to twist open, but a pair of scissors would have been easier. Just place the open trap where the ants are and watch them come an' eat. The hardest part was not being tempted to vacuum them up when you see so many of them swarming the buffet. Plus keeping my dog out of the kitchen while the trap was on the floor. But in TWO days, the ants were GONE.... !! I did a thorough cleaning of the floor and countertops. I see NO signs of them but will continue using the traps at night, just in case. Great product, simple to use.

Yep, they're dead!
I was impressed with the effectiveness of this ant bait. I've used other brands and watched the little menaces laugh at my feeble attempts to violently rid them from my abode. With this stuff, they were "evicted" in about 3-4 days. However.... My only complaint is that the tubes easily leak (drips here and there) and will empty completely if accidentally stepped on (oops). The solution puddled and stuck fast to my laminate floor. I was scraping hardened ant bait off for about 10 minutes with a utility knife. For those with pets, small kids, or another adult in the house who prefers to taste things in order to figure out what they are, the leaking could be a serious problem. But, at least your ants will be gone.

EFFECTIVE
This product is extremely effective, but disgusting at the same time. I noticed a few stray ants on my kitchen counter by the sink from time to time. I put these baits out, and within minutes, the trap was swarming with ants. They seemed to hang out in the trap for hours. It was disgusting, but the net result was worth having to see this hoard of ants. The next thing I noticed was a steady bee line of ants walking single file right along the edge of the countertop where the wall meets the back of the counter. They were headed back to the nest!!!!! YUCK! I'd gotten up a couple times in the late evening to check the progress, and ants were coming to and from the trap. I noticed the bee line when up the back wall and into a small hole behind one of my cabinets. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, because my home is pristine. Apparently, ants are not discriminating. This went on all night. Today, I noticed buy a very few "drunken" ants haphazardly making their way back to the nest. The traps were empty, sans a few dead ants that fell victim to the toxin before they could bring it back to the hive. I have no ants on my countertops, and I fully expect that the ants will be obliterated by the end of the day.

A godsend for heavy ant infestations
We live in the country, in an old wooden house, so have always had trouble with ants in the summer. I've tried everything, from standard ant traps to sprays to more "natural" solutions and deterrents over extermination and nothing has worked. I bought these on a whim at the advice of some people on an online forum because they were cheap and if they didn't work, whatever, not a lot of money wasted. But lo and behold, after cutting the end off one, placing it where I saw the ants coming in, watching for a day or two in horror as it became covered in 20 or so of the absolutely enormous soldier ants, they have all disappeared outside of a few stragglers. Considering before that empty drink cups and the like would be COVERED in a matter of minutes, one or two lone souls wandering around is an amazing result. If you're like me and have felt like none of the standard Raid traps or sprays have done a thing, give this a try!

Easy & effective
Had an infestation of small black ants in several places in my apartment. Once I learned how to use the bait properly, it worked well. I mainly have 2 small complaints which is why I wouldn't give it 5 stars on every aspect - one is the twist-off seal design is a bit scuffed - it tends to rip away differently each time, so you'll have to manually adjust the opening to allow access while also preventing all the liquid from oozing onto the floor. Secondly, sometimes the ants were a bit oblivious to the existence of the bait, so there was some trial and error in placement. You really need to find a location where a lot of ants are frequently going past, so they will find and target it. Once they do, they will go nuts for the bait and it will take out a lot of them. I bought two 4-packs and the packs are quite inexpensive at a little more than $1 a piece. It took a little trial and error and wasted traps though. But I would say I took out 2 major ant locations with 2 traps each, 1 minor one with 1 trap, kind of wasted 2 traps and I have 1 left in reserve. But for less than $10 the ants in my apartment are finally controlled. Overall I'd rate at least 4.5 / 5, and say well done!

Effective against ants, spills easily
CAUTION: The plastic container needs to be on a flat surface and make sure you don’t accidentally bump or knock it over. Be careful of pets or kids. After you pop the tab, the ant trap liquid is just sitting in the container and can spill out all over the floor or counter. I had to clean up a spill and was afraid to get the liquid on my skin. I wish the container was built better so that it wouldn’t spill so easily. I put one of these ant traps in my kitchen and one in the bathroom and it took care of all the ants in my house in 2 days. Previously, I tried to use 4 RAID ant traps and they did not work. These Terro ones were very effective. I will purchase these again, but I will tape them to the counter so that they don’t tip over.
