Great Product!
We have had some theft in our neighborhood and wanted a more secure spot for our outdoor TV- this works perfectly! Easy to install, makes it impossible for a thief to unscrew it.

Great Product from great company
This is a great kit. So amazon chopped off the second part of my address line and it got returned to sender. They shipped it back to me for free. That's just a great beginning. So when installing the kit, I realized it's a great kit. Very well thought through. Installation is easy, all necessary hardware is included. cable is heavy duty and should stop the average burglar. If the burglar gets away with the TV with this kit attached, then the tv is most likely broken. It attaches to the mounts and the mount holes are covered so you cannot remove the bolt unless the cable is removed. My only grip is, the end of the cable mount where you would lock it to some surface is held in by what looks to be like a small drywall screw. Of course i replaced it with something hefty like a lag bolt. The lock is pretty small and could easily be broken. Of course I'm just paranoid and upgraded these components my self. Bottom line: Great product! doesn't use the "glue"

Minimal protection
Ok for protection against quick theft. Will not hold up against even small bolt cutters. Included lock very cheap will not last outside

easy to install and secure
Purchased this for work. I have a small flat screen in our customer waiting area. The TV is mounted on the wall with a arm. I was able to take out 2 screws holding the backing plate to the tv, insert the secuity tubes and existing screws, install the security, metal covers in the tubes. I threaded one end of the cable through the 2 opening in the tubes, and around the arm. I then found a metal stud behind the TV and installed the screw and final security tube to the wall. Threaded the end of the cable through the last tube and put on the pad lock. It took me 10 minutes. Its a 32 " tv and you don't see the security cable or anything behind the TV. This is a cheap security device which should do the trick!

Great product. Does what it says
I order one of these t.V locks for my t.Vs because my house was broken into about two weeks ago. So this time it is going get locked down in case they come back. I kinda want them come back because I have hidden cameras installed now to. We keep are windows clean and the cop seen finger prints in the window they climb in that they chisel the lock out of... They claim the prints was too smudged to work. So if that's the case clearly they are to stupid to wear a mask. But anyways this package comes with like 5 different sets of screws to be able use with many t.Vs. I do suggest you get a supporting base to help deter thief's or giving it extra strength. Because the only base they give you is a 2 inch screw with same type of cap that goes on the t.V. I installed a steel latch that is used on like sheds and stuff. I don't need it open. I just needed a base so I screwed that in then took a hot glue gun and filled in the screws so it can't be unscrewed. These is a great product that will help save your t.V or make the bugler "work" for the t.V. I think the t.V will get broke before they get it off by force. I rather have broken t.V then a rewarded thief i posted 2 pictures above

Overpriced and incomplete but best I could find
We have an outdoor TV we wanted to make slightly harder to steal. This kit was the only show in town when I searched for a locking setup. I think it's overpriced for what you get. In my case, I didn't even get all the parts promised- the mounting lug where the cable attaches to the wall was missing from my package. I didn't realize it until I was mostly complete with the job so I improvised and just put an eye bolt into the stud behind the TV and locked the cable to that. But, that being said the lugs that go over the TV mount screws are pretty intelligent, and are built nicely. Tip, the "security washer" thing goes into the lug before you run the cable through, deep in there by the screw head. Not at the top of the opening. I was scratching my head on that, but it makes way more sense this way (AKA the right way). The lock is small and probably not high security, but neither is the cable, which could be cut easily with bolt cutters. Again, this is an inconvenience to someone who wants to steal your TV, but it is not going to stop a determined thief.

Also great for Earthquake, Tip-proof, Child-proof
Although I am happy with the theft-deterrence this cable offers, I bought and installed it to prevent someone (kids, cleaning lady, rambunctious gamers, etc.) from accidentally knocking over our 52" flat screen. The installation was simple. I was able to arrange the cable so the TV still swivels for access to the rear cable panels. The price was better than other products and the simple design was far more appropriate for this application than other theft-prevention devices. Earthquakes aren't a real risk in the Northeast, but this was also perfect for my Bay Area friends and relatives.

Simple installation
It may seem a little crazy to lock down items in your own home, but that's what I've done after my house was broken into in the Spring. Really, though, the way I rationalized purchasing this security kit is the placement of my television--specifically, I have my 65" flat screen sitting on a media stand rather than mounted on a wall. For such situations (and especially on TVs larger than 50"), most manufacturers recommend additional stabilization for the TV to prevent accidental toppling. Most stabilization kits (with wires) cost upwards of $50 at Best Buy, so this was a relative steal at $29 on Amazon. Installation is quick and easy--so simple, in fact, that the directions might confuse you. You do have to find a stud, however, or the whole concept (safety and security) is defeated. I plan to purchase another for my flat screen in my bedroom armoire.
