Good Grips Contoured Pepper Grinder with Adjustable Ceramic Mill

Can’t say enough great stuff about this Peppermill. I bought it to replace a cheap plastic one that had a really good blend of herbs and Himalayan salt in it. The plastic one could not grind and I got frustrated every time I tried to use my spices. The OXO good grips mill turns so easily that I have to check that it’s actually coming out… It’s that easy! I love the coarseness setting and I get the joy of my spices without any frustration at all. If I could give 10 stars I would.

This OXO pepper grinder is exactly what I wanted. It feels sturdy, is comfortable to use, and grinds pepper smoothly and consistently. I also like being able to adjust the grind depending on what I'm cooking. It's easy to use, doesn't make a mess, and just works the way a good pepper grinder should. Great everyday kitchen item and one I'd happily recommend.

I like the adjustable grind and the grip on the twister knob. Filling is easy and of course it a quality build from a good brand. The only gripe I have is ... why is the pepper mill light gray but the salt mill is black? (of course they are the same, so just swap what's in them).

This is decent, small grinder. It does a very nice job grinding paper. It has a setting for how coarse it grinds, but there is very little difference between the settings. Contrary to what other reviews have stated, the settings are not all the same but the difference is pretty subtle. I just use either the most fine setting or the heavier setting. I'm not sure sure about build quality--it doesn't feel overly cheap but a number of reviews have stated that the ceramic gears wear down pretty quickly--they should have been made out of stainless steel. We'll see how long it lasts--for $20 it is not very expensive to replace. Mine arrived in an Amazon bag. When I opened it, peppercorns spilled out all over the place. The grinder ships with pepper corns in it in a plastic bag that is opened on one end. The top of the grinder where you put in the peppercorns have unscrewed and fell off, spilling peppercorns all over the place. The cap should have been tightened more and the grinder shipped in a sealed bag. This problem does not seem to be Amazon's fault. Later, when using it again, the top fell off and again, I had peppercorns spilled all over the place. They need to do something so that the top does not loosen so easily.

Absolutely wonderful pepper mill! I really like being able to change the type of grind for the pepper and this mill does the job smoothly and well.

Outstanding 'ceramic' mill. Perfect for pepper corns & salt crystals. Barely grinds wet natural organic salt. Easy to fill. Short size and does not tip over easily like tall mills. Attractive and easy to clean and use. We love this mill. Giftable.

This is simply the best pepper mill we’ve ever owned. Simple, precise grinding with 5 size settings. Easy to hold and so easy to use. Pepper packed with mill from Viet Nam, mill made in China because we can’t make it here economically any more. Never disappointed with OXO.

It's an excellent peppercorn grinder and will grind larger seeds. But it won't grind flax or chia seed which is why I bought it. The seeds are too tiny for it.

Getting a third one for white pepper! These are so well designed, they are easy to refill and don't leave a mess as the grinder side is stored facing up. The twist is easy to hold and grind selection is a nice and clear. Love the product!
