I used it for a Kingsize mattress topper which was a good 30cm (3 inch) thickness. Flattened down nicely. Compared to other bags I’ve used they cost a little more, but they were good strong quality . I used one bag for an entire winter wardrobe (coats, jumpers, scarves, even boots), and it compressed down to about a third of the original size. The material feels thick and durable — not the flimsy, crinkly plastic you sometimes get with cheaper storage bags. These are built to last and don’t feel like they’ll split or tear after one use. The seams are strong and well-sealed, and the zip slider included makes it easy to close the bags securely. Vacuum sealing is very straightforward. You fill the bag, zip it shut, then attach your hoover to the one-way valve. Within seconds, the bag compresses down as the air is sucked out, and once done, the cap locks securely in place. The suction valve works smoothly and fits any standard vacuum hose — no need for adapters or fancy kits. One of the best things about these bags is how airtight they are. I checked on them after several weeks in storage — no reinflation, no air leaks, and everything inside still fresh and flattened. They're also waterproof, which means you can store them in lofts, garages, or under the bed without worrying about damp or dust getting in. For organisation, I really like the clear design — you can see exactly what’s inside each bag, which makes finding things later much easier. If you're storing multiple sets, a quick label or a coloured ribbon in the zip helps distinguish them at a glance. If I had to suggest a small improvement, it would be to include handles or a textured strip for easier handling when moving full bags — but that’s a minor point considering how well they perform. All in all, the Opaza Extra Large Storage Bags are strong, reliable, and make a huge difference to space-saving and home organisation. I’ll definitely be buying another pack. Highly recommended!
