Does it really stick?
TL:DR Buy it, this ring is worth it The Spigen Style Ring, is a great phone ring. I have bought this ring twice. Once for my Note 8, the second for my Note 10 Plus simply because i didn't want to remove the first one from my Note 8. Pros. -Adhevsive sticks wonderfully -Doesn't need to fully cover a surface to get a good hold. The ring is current on my UAG Monarch for my Note 10 Plus, right in the middle on the lower bottle of the case. The ring, despite being only on the two lifting sides, it still holds great. -Reuseable adhesive. Ok lets be honest here, this feather alone makes this thing great. Ring adhesive feeling a bit weak? Maybe a bit dirty? Not a problem, just remove the thing, wash it, let it dry and it has full strength all over again, it freaking amazing!!!! -Ring hold. The main point of the ring, it works great and doubles as a wonderful kickstand that has yet to fail me. Cons -Adhesive does occasionally fall. Now when i saw occasionally, i mean once in a blue moon. Literally i was taking a shower and i had my ring hooked on the towel holder on my door, the only reason the adhesive fell was because of repeated exposure to steam and i mean like 6+ months of exposure before finally letting go. I cleaned the adhesive and let it dry and haven't had the problem again since. The lift caused by the ring. Now this is to be expected but i still have to count it. If you're someone who likes to lay their phone on it's back, this ring isn't for you because it causes the phone to lift up. -Ring paint. The ring is actually copper, with a coating over it. Over time the paint will come off and it may make it look like the ring is rusting but it isn't, all that is happening is the paint is wearing away. This isn't a big deal, i honestly prefer the copper but, stilla flaw nonetheless. Overall, the cons most definitely do not outweight the pros. This thing is absolutely amazing and the best ring holder i have used. If not for the one time the adhesive failed, i would've given this product 5 stars acrossed the board.

I've bought this 3 times for 3 different phones
I attached a picture of all the rings I've bought. They are still attached to their original cases. I first bought this for my Samsung S8 (minty color). It stuck super well to the back of my phone case for the two years I had it. When I got my S9 (purple), I got this ring again. The ring again stuck super well to the back of my phone case. I just got this ring again for my S21 (glitter case). The ring has never came unstuck or showed any signs of ever coming close to unstuck once I put it on my phone case. The adhesive is A+. I even had it stuck onto the back of an Otterbox case that has the soft outside for my S9 (the Defender series, I think). I do recommend having it on a hardback case though. The actual ring itself is always stiff at first, but will loosen up in time. However, they don't get so loose that you can't prop your phone up anymore. Just gets easier to adjust in your hand when you're scrolling or moving around. I prop my phone up a lot, but I never had any of the rings fall over or anything while in use. The 2nd time I bought this ring (for my S9), I dropped my phone and it did crack the base of the ring. You can see it in the picture that there's a white crack at the top. However, this didn't change anything. Still stayed put and the ring didn't get loose and could support the phone fine when propped up at an angle. Just cosmetic damage. The silver part of the ring does discolor over time. My S9 had the most discoloration, but it's just on the edges of the ring. The first one of the S8 only has it on the notch. It's really not a big deal to me and I barely noticed. The color of the base can also get damaged, but that's from me dropping my S9. The first ring on the S8 has a little white around the notch of the ring from use. The first two rings I bought were constantly used for 2 years each, with the S9 being a little bit over 2 years. I just bought the 3rd one, but I don't expect it to be any different than the last two. I can't recommend this ring enough, and I can't imagine having a phone without it. I will always come back to this product.

I love this thing
Y'all. I love this thing. I have a Note 8. I had previously owned a large phone and had developed pain in my hands from holding and stretching and repetitive movements. This ring allows an easier grip. It's also very secure, despite being able to peel it off and move it. I adjusted mine about 3 times before finding my preferred spot. I placed mine on the corner closest to my right hand when holding the phone at the bottom. It enables me to hold it one handed and swype with just my thumb to text. I also like that I worry less about dropping my phone now. It provides a good grip. I'm constantly getting my phone in and out of my pocket, my backpack or wherever else I've stashed it and the ring makes it easy to grab. I use the kickstand function a lot more than I thought I would. My 5 year old loves it. It makes it easier for viewing movies, YouTube, recipes, etc. I worry that the ring will eventually lose its tightness and become loose, but I've been using it nonstop since I got it in the last few months and it's holding firm at this point. Lastly, I like the way the ring feels. I'm a bit of a weirdo about how things feel and I actually really enjoy how this ring feels on my finger. I will frequently carry my phone with the ring on my hand just because I like how it feels. I layered this ring with a case that has another kickstand and they work great together. Can't say enough about this little accessory. {Update} I'm finally replacing this aka ordering another. It played through the first Note 8, multiple case changes, a replacement Note 8 and case changes. I just put it on my new S20 and it is finally losing grip and won't stay. I believe I bought this in 2017 and it's 2020 now. The only thing that I wished had held up longer was the kick stand. Otherwise, this is amazing. Update July 2020. My newly purchased ring came off my phone. The adhesive sort of separated from the back of the ring. I do think it's possibly related to grooves on my phone case.

Works with wireless chargers...with a little compromise
This ring is made of high quality and it adheres securely to my iPhone XR phone case. WIRELESS CHARGING Positioning the ring so that it could be used with my wireless charger forced me to compromise. Ideally, I'd like the ring in the middle of my phone, but it creates too much separation between my phone and the pad of my wireless charger. The only way I could wireless charge my phone with the ring on my case is by mounting the ring high on the case next to the photo lens. This allows my phone to rest close enough to my charging pad to receive a charge. Please note that my phone doesn't rest flush on the charging pad. Part of the plastic ring mount does a create very slight separation between the charging pad and the top of my phone. However, the bottom of my phone touches the pad, allowing the middle of my phone to rest close enough to the pad to be detected by the charger. USING THE RING AS A STAND I bought the ring it to replace my PopSocket, which had become flimsy over time after using it as a stand. The ring is easy to swivel and rotate, but does not flop around loosely. It is durable, unlike a plastic PopSocket. If you intend to use the ring as a stand, it will remain in whatever position you place it. Note: Because I mounted the ring high on my phone case, I mounted it so that the Spigen logo is upside down. This allows the ring to swivel slightly closer to the middle of my phone, creating a little more stability as a stand. Note: The size of your phone, thickness of your phone case and the size/shape of your wireless charging stand/pad may produce different results. HOOK MOUNT I found the hook mount that comes with the ring to be basically unusable. It doesn't hold my phone sturdily. CONCLUSION If you do not use a wireless charger, I don't think you can go wrong with this ring. If you do use a wireless charger, buy the ring and test it out. Before you mount it to your phone, use a piece of tape to test different positions for the ring and see how it works with your wireless charger. Most likely, you won't be able to place the ring in the center of your phone and wirelessly charge, but with a little creativity, you can probably find a way to get it to work.

A MUST for anyone who suffers from RA, Fibromyalgia, or any kind of pain in their hands
I own the iPhone 7 Plus, and I have severe RA. Previously when I first got my 6 Plus, I noticed that I was having a difficult time hanging onto it, and I would drop it often. Not good. Then one day I saw the "Ring". I had the "iRing" on my 6 Plus and it was awesome. I bought the Spigen Ring for my 7 Plus because it matches the Rose Gold color of the phone. I never attach the ring directly to the phone itself - I put a case on it, and attach the ring to the case. Once it is in place, it makes it so easy and less painful to hold onto the phone. I just slide my middle or index finger through the ring and the phone sits comfortably in the palm of my hand, without the risk of my dropping it. This ring has been on my phone for several months now, and I have had no problems with it. The adhesive that is used works amazingly, and it holds the phone without issue. The only thing you might notice is that the first few days it might come off, until the adhesive "cures" a little. I would just put it back on each time it came off, and after a few days it never came off again. The other thing I've learned is that if you do have a problem with it coming un-attached, a little super glue will hold it forever. With my first iRing, When it started coming unattached from the case I just figured it was time to get a new one. The life expectancy of the adhesive is significant, but it will eventually become old and either the ring will need to be super glued to the phone or case, or the ring itself should be replaced. But for the purpose it serves for me with my disability, this little product is AMAZING. I can't say enough about it - and in fact, many people I know have purchased one after seeing mine! It's the best!

I didn't think I would like this little gadget
I purchased this when I upgraded to a iPhone 7+. I knew that with the big phone, I would be dropping it a lot. I didn't think I would like this little gadget, but thought it was necessary. I actually love it and wouldn't be without it. It is great for reading in bed, for example, or using the phone while trying to do other things. The kickstand function also comes in handy, for example if I'm using a recipe from my phone when cooking, or watching a video while doing another task. Mine did break after about a year and a half, but that was with pretty much constant use and abuse. Honestly, I was surprised it lasted that long, given that I use it constantly and also tend to fiddle with it and flip it and twist it around. The "kickstand" also loosened up too much to be effective, prior to it breaking, but again, I'm sure my abuse contributed to that. After it broke, I was happy to replace it with another just like it, and if this one eventually breaks, I'll buy yet another one. It has definitely saved my phone from certain disaster, and it is well worth its cost. Incidentally, I use it with the Spigen Neo-Hybrid case and it works great. It adheres well and stays put.

Nice idea, ring gets extremely loose
Summary: decently sturdy ring and design, ring quickly gets very loose making car mount useless I like the idea of a phone ring that also comes with a car mount. I have a Spigen case that works well, so I decided to match it with this ring. The design seemed sturdier and looked better than some of the other ones I saw on Amazon or in person. (The usefulness of phone rings vs popsockets is another debate entirely.) However, I only got a month or two of good use out of this before the ring became too loose. At first it did not bother me too much, because it did not matter when holding the phone. It was also still sturdy enough to use as a kickstand, I just had to be careful. The car was a different story, as due to any looseness of the ring, the phone would rock downwards so that the screen was unreadable. I would have to hold up the phone with my hand while driving to see the GPS. My friends all wondered why I did not get a separate car mount, but I use my CD port (yes, no aux cable) and I don't like things permanently in front of the air vents. I liked that this car mount was small and could fit in a good area. So partly out of laziness, and partly out of reluctance to pry off the mount and ring and clean up the adhesive, I kept the ring and mostly used the voice instructions on my GPS. I finally got around to writing this review after almost 2 years to say that by now, the base where the ring attached is cracked in three places, and the ring is more loose than ever. However, it is still there and the adhesive keeps everything together. Not too bad considering how long it has been. I only wish I got to get more good use out of the car mount. They could have made the surface of the mount slightly wider and tilted (or with a protrusion) so that it could hold the phone up more, despite how loose the ring is. One of these days I will get around to doing a DIY to glue something on, unless I get a new phone/case/mount first.

This is my favorite phone wring and hands free car holder.
I've bought 5 of these for different cars and even my work van. Worth every penny. With the ring I never drop my phone anymore. It takes a bit to break in but it stays tight for a long time. It takes years to get flimsy. It props your phone up horizontally too. As you can see in the pic I've used this for so long it's rubbed off the paint in my car. I should have set it forward a bit. I'll never use another phone ring as long as it's available. I might even buy a back up like I have in the past. It will eventuall break between the ring and what sticks to your phone but that's from constant use all day.

A very usefull product
I have been using it since last 2 months and have found it quite usefull. It does deliver for what it has been designed for. The sticky gel is really re-usable since I have peeled it of twice and stuck it again. The only problem that I have faced with it is that the color is getting scratched off with use. Now the ring does look dirtier with less silver coating and more plastic showing.
