Having read several reviews about this mailbox AFTER ordering it I was somewhat anxious as some had mentioned that it isn’t waterproof as stated in the description. Once received it was very apparent that rain water would get into the mailbox due to its design. However, I liked the mailbox as it’s very in keeping with the style of our property. I easily remedied the problem by attaching a piece of strong clear plastic to the inside of the mailbox where the two openings incorporated in the design are located. All mail has remained dry since being hung on the wall approx 2 months ago. I appreciate you shouldn’t have to mess around making something waterproof but the mailbox is lovely and the little effort that was required was well worth it.

Arrived well packaged so likelihood of damage was slim to none. Inside the letter box was the wall plugs, screws and keys. Installing was straight forward with the correct drill bit and the screws and plugs are usable and not the rubbish you often get with products. Only difficulty someone could find themselves in is the too two screws need to be put in through the letter flap opening requiring a longer screwdriver then usual. No issue here though. I spot of rain last night and the birthday cards that arrived this morning were all nice and dry but most importantly not destroyed by one of our dogs. The whole reason off buying one.

Expected it to be a bit more sturdy. When arrived had to fix letter flap which was hard. Had to change screws as the ones supplied were too short. Looks OK up, bought fir a friend who was pleased with the look. Time will tell.

Looks great and size good. Flap is a problem with weather, does need to be heavier and mail can get wet. I tried a magnet as someone suggested but need to get a bigger magnet. I also put clear plastic over peep holes to stop rain, easy fix but manufacturers should be sorting these small faults to make postbox perfect

very good product . flap could be bit heavier but i attached a small piece of lead behind flap to stop wind blowing it as we live in an exposed area and i fitted a piece of clear perspex behind viewing window . but all told a very nice mailbox.

Finally got round to putting this post box up. Equipment was provided to do so, but weren't strong enough to do the job. So FYI for those using the wall plugs and screws it comes with - you might want to get stronger and longer ones, depending on where you are putting it and material attaching it too. No you will not put this up with cable ties. Its not huge, will hold a few letters A4 size, maybe a very small packet but not much else. Not sure how weather proof it is, not tested just yet. We attached it to a pebble-dashed pillar, so sits as flush as it can on pebble-dash. Also looks good, doesn't protrude from the wall too much either. Overall I am happy with the product - ultimately you get what you pay for. Blends in well, looks good and would recommend this product momentarily.

Got this so I can leave the gate to my property shut, simple to fit and nothing gets wet. Looks really good on the wall Would recommend 👍

It is a nice product but apparently the seller is sending out items that are slightly damaged. In particular, paint is missing on a few spots. I am returning one to get full refund. I reordered the same, again spots without paint!!! I will paint it... Be aware.

Good value for money compared to many other similar products at twice the price... Not completely waterproof though and water gets in through the peep hole...

Livré rapidement cette boite a lettre est top. Tres robuste et style super quand on habite dans de l ancien ou un quartier de charme. Elle est Abrité donc pas de retour sur l etancheité mais ca me semble bien conçu. Pour le prix acheter les yeux fermés!

Es muy bonito y la calidad precio esta muy bien y justo con el estilo que he puesto en mi fachada. Muy satisfecha
