PopSockets Car Phone Mount, Vent Mount, Black - Black

This is my second time buying this item. The first one lasted about three years. At the 2 1/2 year mark it lost some of the ability to stay in one place so when I would make a hard turn, it would kind of swing around, but it wasn’t until a few days ago that it actually Came off of my dashboard. I Consider that a pretty good life for an item like this. Would totally buy this a third time.

I had one for years that finally broke so I got this one and it’s just the same quality as the last. It grips great and easy to install. I believe it will hold up for many years just like the last one

Honestly it really does the job! I am very pleased that it can hold my phone up with a popsocket, there were no issues with the exception of - after about 13 months, the adhesive completely stopped working. It would come off a few times but I was able to push it back down, and then it finally stopped sticking. This is rather expensive to last only 1 year, and would like to see replacement adhesive suctions or another solution. I did message popsocket directly but since I ordered from amazon, even if they had ways to resolve this issue, i'm not expecting them to. Despite that, I will repurchase this after my new phone case arrives - but it would be great if they did respond and provide a solution before then!

Love this, I use this every time I drive. It really helps out when I need to look at directions and have to be hands free. The only thing is sometimes during the summer it falls down because the heat melts the stickness of it.

I was having a hard time finding a phone mount compatible with popsockets. It's annoying to have to remove the popsocket every time I get in the car. This one works well. Super easy install and versatile mounting. And it fits all styles of popsockets. Though it is not a snug fit. More of a cradle. So my phone will sometimes list or rotate while driving. Which might be a deal breaker for some. But my phone screen just corrects for the rotation and it is not an issue for me.

This mount is almost perfect... except it has a useless spring. I don't understand why it needs one, since it loses its tight hold so easily. I used it on my windshield, so it's hanging upside-down like it's advertised that it can do. But, over time the spring in the base slowly stretches, making the phone bounce around. For the price, I'd hope for more than a year of solid usability. Would it be so hard to omit the spring? Just make one without, so it can be used on the windshield without the added frustration of compromised spring integrity. But that's how companies make money now, limited durability, so their products are repurchased. If you use it for stationary mounting, like a desk or nightstand, it will last, for sure. But if you use it in a vehicle, that experiences bumps and other types of movement, don't expect it to last much longer than a year. I have purchased 3, because I thought that maybe it was a production batch flaw in the first 2 mounts because I bought them together. No, it's an overall design flaw. This mount, after the 3rd product purchased a year later, did the same thing, is disappointing at best. The photo shows the base loose from the main mount body, because the spring lost its integrity.

Installation was super easy. Stability is great. Holds my phone better then any other mount I've ever purchased. I should have gotten a second one for my husband.

J'ai commencé à utiliser les PopSockets depuis l'année dernière, je me suis décidé pour le socle sans grande illusion, principalement concernant l'adhérence. Et bien super surprise, ça tient depuis le 1er jour, et j'adore le côté hyper pratique du fait d'avoir juste à poser le smartphone sans avoir besoin de galèrer avec une pince ! Modulable, solide, patin de fixation selon l'endroit (tableau de bord ou pare-brise), bref, il est définitivement adopté, je recommande vraiment.

Definitely a bit pricey but it is good quality and a very durable phone mount for a pop socket. The only annoying thing is the phone won't stay upright when I turn corners unless it's plugged into a charging cord. But maybe if my pop socket was more centered it might negate that. Overall I'm happy with it

Werkelijk waar een waardeloos product. Telefoon draait alle kanten op wanneer hij in de houder zit. Ga je door de bocht? De telefoon hangt scheef. Drempel? Telefoon scheef. Kuil in de weg? Telefoon scheef. Kortom, hij hangt meer scheef dan recht. Echt waardeloos en verschrikkelijk zonde van het geld.
