PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Glycine Powder (4oz) Non-GMO, Non-Essential Amino Acid

I read about glycine on Substack. The author of this Substack said it would help with sleep. I need something other than melatonin or gummies which only worked sonetimes. Fantastic advise. I started taking it at 3grams every day and in no time I was sleeping through the night. No more waking up at 1 or 4 am staring at the ceiling. Also helped with my brain fog, sloggy memory. Better than pharma or melatonin. Highly recommend if you can't sleep well or through the night.

I’ve been using this in my coffee and tea. It dissolves completely and has a mild sweetness. The texture is similar to to white sugar. It comes in a nice package with a ziplock closure.

High quality product at a great price. Bout this a couple times before and this one seems to be even better quality as it is of finer crystals, dissolves more readily and tastes better too when mixed in drinks. An ideal way to circumvent the glycine deficit that most human beings function on everyday.

I am an experienced biohacking expert with over 17 years of experience and take a variety of supplements to improve my quality of life. Glycine is an amino acid that, according to many sources, can improve sleep quality, promote relaxation, regulate blood sugar levels, and improve overall metabolism, although scientific data on this issue is contradictory and the benefits of taking glycine vary from person to person. Nevertheless, I take 2 grams of glycine daily on a regular basis, although I cannot say that I feel any significant difference in my condition. However, it has definitely helped me and some of my patients subjectively improve sleep quality and reduce overall anxiety levels, although I do not rule out a possible placebo effect. I chose the powder form instead of capsules because it is generally more economical

Just a quick (lol) little review to share my personal observations on this product as the reviews are a little mixed (I believe unfairly, I suspect due to customer ignorance or potentially competitors leaving malicious reviews as is always a possibility on commerce platforms such as this). Before I start, It's important to note the following: I have only purchased one unit so far, and thus my experience with this product/vendor is VERY LIMITED. I recognize that products may indeed be different from lot to lot, even to the extent that the product contained in the packaging is a completely different chemical than purported to be. Packaging errors happen, and fraudulent vendors exist. This is a common and well known problem that plagues the entire bulk supplement/chemical repackaging industry. Therefore there remains a possibility that the negative experiences/reviews expressed are indeed legitimate. It's not my intent to ascribe malicious intent to these reviewers. I'm only sharing my limited observational experiences and my thoughts on them. On to the "anec-data"... I made my only purchase of this product In April of 2026. The lot# on the jar was:190569. The appearance of this product is very similar to granulated table sugar (in my experience with other vendors this is normal, but so is glycine with a very fine powder texture like confectioners sugar; I've seen both from reputable vendors). There is a *very* faint and subtle odor when I smell inside the jar, but it's extremely faint, inoffensive and I can't tell if it's from the product or just the smell of the inside of a plastic container. Certainly nothing like ether or solvents or anything others have reported. While the product looks like sugar, it certainly tastes like glycine, provokes a slight acid irritation in the soft tissues of my mouth and around the edge of my lips when consumed in large quantities (like glycine, and unlike sugar). I put a small sample in a metal spoon and heated the spoon with a torch to see if I could get it to melt, and it only produced a smoke that *did not* smell like hot sugar. When I turned the torch directly on to the powder it began to scorch in a manner similar to sugar, however the smoke produced again, *did not smell* like scorched sugar. Unfortunately I don't have any regular sugar in my home at the moment, so I cannot compare the two, but I suspect there would be a noticeable difference. When consumed as part of my regular health routine, It seems to do what other brands of glycine from other vendors do; It promotes a sense of calm and better sleep metrics as reported by my sleep monitoring device. That's why I take glycine, and that's what this seems to do. My only complaint is the product I received was indeed VERY clumpy. In my mind this is minor, and the outstanding price that this is offered at well outweighs that slight inconvenience, nonetheless this is my reasoning for giving the product a 4-star rating. The TL:DR: I'm satisfied, and I personally intend to buy this product again as needed, although due to the concerns raised by others here I will be checking future purchases of this product closely as vendor rapport is earned. Honestly, you should too. The retail chemical & supplement industry has many good & bad actors. The reason high-quality supplements cost so much is that QC measures cost serious money. If I had the money to buy the best, purest stuff on the market with lab-tests and CoAs out the wazoo it wouldn't be an issue. But I'm here writing this, and you're here reading it. If you have to cut costs in certain areas (like I do), use your brain (like I showed you) and try to mitigate some of that risk.

First of all, it came like this, which seems to be a common problem. Secondly, it isn't glycine. It's sugar. The taste is distinct, the texture is rough and grainy (should be a smooth powder) Also doesn't fully dissolve in water. Please refrain from buying a $40 tub of sugar. Bulk supplements glycine is actually really. Only ordered this because it would be delivered sooner. Included a close up of the sugar. Glycine does NOT look like that.

Amazing. Adding a pinch to morning coffee and able to concentrate better thru out day and sleeping better.

im giveing this a 5 star because it is glycine powder and is sweat and does help with nerve problems and more however do not use this if you need to be in ketosis glycine amino acid takes you out of ketosis so do not use it if you are carnivore /keto/no sugar ................. glycine converts to process as sugar . i have a blood meter that tests ketones and blood sugar lvls . there are videos on youtube of people testing their blood also after using any brand of glycine all glycine converts to sugar and kicks you out of ketosis
