Well worth it
Threw these on my rockhopper and they kick a$$. Have about 50 miles in hard trails on them so far and they are super grippy and confident

Cheap & good.
I have had my first set since around mid 2019. They have moved across 3 frames and I continue to use these on my most ridden bike. Not too bulky, and they do an excellent job of foot retention and positioning. The con to that is they also do a great job of demolishing my shins and calves. Be careful of pedal strikes but this is the same across all pedals of this type, regardless of mfg. I ride primarily in vans, and these do a good job of biting into the sole and preventing slip. I liked the first pair so much I bought a second set for another bike.
