Good product
I have not yet used this particular order, but I have used this product before and been happy with the results. Prior to cutting and piecing my quilts I wash my fabrics in groups (very light or white fabrics in a batch, similar colors in another batch, and so on). The color grabbers help take up excess dye in the washing and rinsing process, and keep the fabrics from getting unwanted dye stains and streaks.

It really prevents colors from transferring
Great product! In my laundry, I've never had colors bleed and transfer to my other clothes.

Did a Great Job protecting from running colors!!
Really worked well, had a red pajama bottom that recommended using this product on first wash and it did the trick, I washed with small load of other pinks and reds just to be safe but the color grabber sheet (used 3 for load) , pulled the red to them well. My one white workout towel I put in there as a test was still white at end of wash and the color grabber sheets were bright red. The sheets are very thin and small, would like to see them beefed up a bit, probably would have needed like 8 for a large load. All and all very happy with product, highly recommend, new solution tool for this type of laundry problem. Also very good price for product.

Catches dye run off beautifullly
I’ve used Carbon’s product only a short while, having been using the Shout brand for some time. I like the ease of pulling them from the box and inserting one into the layers of my wash. Should it get into the drain, it’s not going to cause a problem, as it’ll pass like a thin tissue. I’ve actually saved all of the used ones, as I plan to create a collage with them. The color patterns with the product’s weave design are nice! I do believe that using a color catcher is a good thing as many textiles today are not as well-made, or well-dyed as in the past, and bleed can, over time, dull your garments. Or in worst case, leave a patch of color on a lighter garment when it’s washed with something that is dark color.

Work well
I have used a different brand name and they left fuzz type stuff on some of my clothes. Very annoying. These work well and don't leave fuzz. But I do have to use 2 per load to do the job.

Keeps colors from bleeding on a newly comleted quilt
I usually prewash my fabrics before making a quilt, to prevent them bleeding in the finished quilt and to prevent shrinkage in the final product. Other quilters find it easier to work with the unwashed fabric, and then launder the quilt after finishing, so I decided to try that. This particular quilt was from a kit and included several fabrics with blacks, reds and dark greens, as well as golds and creams. So after reading on a quilting blog that people use color grabbers when washing the new quilts, I bought this. These sheets did their job, as evidenced by the color they picked up. I had put 2 in the wash, and when I saw their color, I set the machine for a second rinse and threw in one more. No color on that sheet, and the quilt looked great when it had dried. (The only bad thing about washing a quilt after it is finished is that you shouldn't agitate it, so in my top-loader that meant moving the quilt gently by hand, allowing it to soak, spinning it and doing the same in the rinse cycles.) I have used these sheets on other laundry, too, when I couldn't recall whether a red or dark item had been washed before. I intend to keep some of these sheets on hand from now on.

Keeps colors from "running" with hand dyed yarns.
A knitting friend recommended these sheets after a hand dyed red yarn "ran" into a white yarn on my hand knit merino wool socks. They work well in a sink of hand washing or in the washing machine. I use them with any fiber or fabric. Hot water or room temperature. I've needed to use more than one sheet in a sink or washing machine load, at times. Highly Recommend!
