Update Jan 2024: --- Since buying this Comfee dishwasher in Oct 2022, we have had nothing but praise for it. So much so that people are still asking us about it and where we got it, so thats why I re-visited this product page to give them the link, and thought I would update the review here. As others have said, it just works, and it works well! We use the 90 minute cycle the most, dishes come out clean and dry, and even those big full size dinner plates that you might not think will fit, they still fit, you just put then in on a slight angle, and they just stay in place. Just like a normal dishwasher, just keep in mind how the water jets will hit the items, and make sure the dirty sides of the plates and bowls have direct access to the jets coming from the bottom, and all will be well. We even manage to fit in our big sauce pan, frying pan, and even our Ninja Foodi pan and crisper basket fit. Not all these at once obviously, but in one cycle we'll do one of the big items mentioned above, as well as several plates and bowls and lots of cutlery. We have one of the cutlery basket spacer things in place, and the other side is kept as an open basket for things that are too big to fit in the slots. Long things go on the edge supports or just draped over the plates. Sometimes we can even get away with using only half a dishwasher tablet. We use the Ecover all in one tablets, as we need something environmentally friendly as we use this on a canal boat. Install Notes: We have this plumbed in to the cold water feed which was dead simple to do as the existing piping is all push fit Hep2O connectors. So just head to Screwfix/Toolstation for the parts you need. And the outlet plumbing is very simply plumbed into the appliance connection under the sink, as we have an IKEA sink. If you have an IKEA sink too, and only have one applicance connector, you can buy a single second one to attach on the to end, to have 2 appliance connectors. We have 2, one for the dishwasher, and one for the washing machine. Works great. Kitchen Cabinet Installation: it works really well in an IKEA kitchen customized METOD cabinet edited using their kitchen planner software. Just get the bare METOD cabinet, and add 2 shelves in, and you can even have left over space for a pop out chopping board above, and a 20cm drawer below! Final tips: And just remember at the end of the cycle when it beeps and displays END, it's worth just popping the door open and leaving it ajar slightly, this really helps the dishes dry even faster. Some full size dishwashers do this opening at the end automatically, but you really can't want more from this great little unit for the price. ---- Original Review 2022: Not much to say yet, other than that it works great and was very easy to install myself, with no real plumbing experience. It's quiet and I also find half a dishwasher tablet seems to be good enough! Will hopefully remember to update review if there's ever an issue, but very happy so far!

CONNECTING: Find a diverter for your kitchen tap. It helps if you know what size your tap connection is but who really does? so this part was trial and error for me. The diverter will most likely it will create a 1/2 inch male connection but the dishwasher has a 3/4 inch female connection. This means you will need to get a 3/4in x 1/2in plumbing joint. Ensure that this joint has a 1/2in female side to 3/4in male side. Ensure than there are no leaks by having rubber seals than fit inside the joint as well as some plumbers tape. After this hurdle the dishwasher is great so far. A bit bigger than I thought it would be, so make sure you're happy with the space it will take up and be prepared for the big box delivery. But this therefore means that the dishwasher holds more than expected. Especially if don't do what I do and actually follow the manual recommendations. Also it says max 250mm diameter plates but you can fit my approx 265mm plates in there if you 'illegally' place them between the front and back rack. ENERGY USE: 'Intensive' - 0.894 kwh Normal - 0.667 kwh Eco - 0.608 kwh

Its been an ok dishwasher but after a year of use i had to replace it. The drawers went all rusty, paint was badly flaking off, never known a dishwasher to do this.

This dishwasher was bought in the sales as ours had died. It took a little while to fit. The instructions were not very clear. The rear height screw is adjusted by turning a screw at the FRONT of the machine. If only that detail was in bold it would have saved me a lot of time. I’ve had it a few months now and unfortunately it started to not clean so well despite cleaning etc etc. I called COMFEE who were utterly brilliant and they sent a man out to fix it. Essentially food stuff had got caught in the arms and blocked the holes which in turn stopped them spinning efficiently. To solve it he removed the arms poked the holes and bashed them from side to side to make the bots fall out. Not exactly high end science, but it worked. Apparently all machines - even expensive ones - recycle the water, so can happen on any machine. He said as long as the salt and rinse aid are topped up, most tablets - even cheap ones - will do the job. And it now works perfectly. He did say Bosche, Seimens etc are obviously made with better quality components but this was a decent machine for the price range. Apart from that little glitch it is a really nice machine that cleans really well. It has all kinds of options, but I use the one hour quick wash and I’ve not had any issues at all and everything is sparkling. My old machine took two and a half hours to do the same, so in a busy family house, one hour washes are fantastic.

Background: We always had a dishwasher in our mums house so I never new how crap it was doing dishes until I moved out. I’ve spent 8 years staring at dirty dishes, making boke noises while I wipe the dried in crap off, having to go to the shop to get those metal scrubbers for the real bad stuff! In the rare event I was ever stupid enough to cook a fry, Sunday dinner or god help me, bake with my son, I was basically committing to 3 hours of constant washing and drying standing at the sink! Please do not think I’m joking when I say this, it is the worst part of my life. “I’ve not had a very hard life.” Present day: So comfeè has been with us just under a month, and I can safely say in the event of a fire the order of saving would be, 1. Son. 2. Dog. 3. Comfeè. 4. Boyfriend. Because at least comfeè helps with the dishes. I actually couldn’t live without her now like I don’t know how I did it for 8 years! I’ve waited near a month just to make sure it wouldn’t clog up or leak or explode or something! But she is still perfect in every way, I come home from work to clean warm dishes, And it’s really quiet I don’t have to leave the kitchen when it’s on! I do with my new washing machine that was £100 more than my dishwasher and sounds like a lorry! But that’s only making me appreciate the the thought process behind my dishwasher more, like for £100 less they made a better machine than an extremely well know brand of washing machines. Installing in small kitchen is also really easy I did it myself, you need a y splitter off Amazon, YouTube a video and if the value they show isn’t under your sink it’s probably plumbed behind your washing machine. Moral of the story: They lived happily ever after. So recently we have had a problem. Comfeè started showing “E4” in the display window, I called someone from my home town to look at it and he said it’s a very common error from people opening a dishwasher while it’s in use constantly to add items they forgot about and that because it was only 2 months old he wouldn’t even touch it until I rang and asked about the warranty first to see if I could get it replaced, I thought it would be my responsibility for shipping and it would be to difficult and to much hassle but rang just to see what they said, they are sending someone from herms delivery tomorrow to collect comfeè and once they collect it the money will be back in my account in 3-5 working days and then I just reorder it. The people on the phone “ both times, I had to hang up the first time because my house was so noisy” we’re so helpful and polite I was so surprised normally phone costumer service anywhere is a nightmare to deal with. The only way the company could of made it easier is if there was a replace option instead of just returning and re buying that means I’m back to doing the dishes by hand for just under a month before the new one will be delivered probably, and costumer service phone people couldn’t apologise enough for the inconvenience. I’m really surprised how well the hole thing has turned out from the stress I thought it was going to be. Hopefully comfeè 2.0 will thrive now I know not to use the pause function. Will update again at Christmas.

I wasn't sure if getting such a small dishwasher was going to be worthwhile but I am so glad I bought it. This is the first time I have owned a dishwasher and the difference it has made to my life is amazing. There is only 2 of us in our household but this dishwasher fits all the dishes from breakfast, lunch and dinner plus pots and pans. I put it on in the evening and then open the door before I go to bed so that the dishes dry overnight, then I empty it in the morning and start loading it again. I have had it almost 2 months and use it everyday. Do check your plate size before buying, I needed new crockery anyway so bought some that I knew would fit. The dishwasher is very quiet. I took the doors off one of my kitchen cabinets next to my washing machine and removed the lower shelf and the dishwasher sits in there perfectly. I bought double connectors to fit to the washing machine water and waste and a plumber fitted them. The only downside I can think of is the cup rack at the top is very small and you can only just squeeze a cup on there.

The machine works perfectly and the dishes come out sparkling. Only problem with it is that it’s only got three legs which makes the sourcing of a suitable under counter “trolley” problematic. It does seem though that most other dishwashers are similarly equipped. Nevertheless it is a very desirable appliance

I’ve had this dishwasher for about 5 or 6 months now. I’m amazed how much I can fit in it. Ignore the reviews that say it won’t fit big plates, if they bothered to look, they would see that the back of the basket is lower than the front, that’s where you can put your big plates. Check my photo, I have 2 sizes of dinner plates and they both fit with no problems. It washes perfectly every time. I originally set it up on the worktop, attached to the sink tap, but I measured it and it fits in my cupboard (admittedly with the cupboard door removed). So I bought the relevant pipe fitments on Amazon and it now sits in the cupboard, freeing up worktop space, and it’s attached under my sink. I’m a 54 year old woman and did it on my own, so if I can do it just about anyone can. I’m really happy with this dishwasher, I hate washing up and it’s a perfect size for one or two people. I only run it once, or occasionally twice a week, because I can fit so much in it. Including pots and pans.
