How does this compare to doing exercises on a bosu ball? i have pt that involves standing on one foot on one, and i'd love a less expensive option.

The BOSU Pods are much smaller, so they are more challenging to stand on than the regular size BOSU. One pod per foot, so if you are doing an exercise where one leg is weight bearing and the other is off the ground it is a lot more difficult to balance. I think you get a better core workout with the pods because they are more difficult to balance on so you are engaging more muscle groups than with a regular BOSU.

Can you pump air into these if they lose pressure over time? If so, what tool would you use?

Yes, you can add air with a standard needle pump that you would use on a basketball, volleyball, etc.

Is there a weight limit? How does that work if the weight is distributed?

Hello, The recomended weight capacity is 300 lbs. for each pod.

How do you deflate these? I put too much air in them.

You didn't have to put air in them They are sent at the proper inflation. I am so sorry! They work wonderfully at the inflation provided. They really helped me regaib my balance!
