Philips Avent Fast Bottle Warmer with Smart Temperature Control: Warms Evenly, No Hotspots – SCF358/00

I decided to write this review after noticing the amount of people complaining about this product. The building quality is really good. Much, much better than other famous brand that I had in the past, and that after a couple of months of intermittent use it started leaking from the bottom. The presets for the volume work very well too. It is fast (~3-5 minutes to a warm bottle, depending on the volume), and also keeps the ideal temperature once is warm. The only thing that is not very well described in the instructions is how much water you should put in the device. There's a change in the internal diameter, but if you fill with water just until that level, the milk doesn't comes warm enough. This is perhaps the reason why some customers are complaining about the bottle warmer not working properly. We now add water until it reaches the same height than the milk in the bottle and now it works like a charm.

I have been using this with my MAM bottles and it has worked well however the time to heat up does take a little longer the 3 minutes that is suggested, I woukd say around 6 minutes to heat up milk. It has a seperate function for baby food which I find useful when I am unable to cook for my little one. The design is nice and delicate but I suggest cleaning out the water regularly to avoid limescale build up.

I have both glass and plastic bottles, and this doesn't even warm up the plastic bottles in one go. I have to turn it on twice for them, at that point, I could just use a kettle since it's quicker. Do not recommend.

I didn't want to write a review but I saw some bad ones left by someone. And I want to say that this bottle warmer is a life saver. It warms up the bottle in about 5 minutes (it depends on the quantity as well). My baby is having just 5 oz formula hence her small age. And this quantity is ready warm in as little as 3 minutes. Does a great job. I am glad I purchased it. I am confidently recommend it to everyone considering between brands.

Takes far too long to heat up. Does not take space and looks ok and easy to use. Functions well and does not leak.

This is a good bottle warmer, it works well and I use it every night for the baby. It is very easy to use and keeps the milk nice and warm without overheating it and making it to hot. I recommend it to all. It keeps the milk just at the right warmth for long periods so is perfect! it definitely improves the standard of life for the little one even though it is such a simple small thing :-)

We started off with the NUK bottle warmer until we got tired of the milk always being boiling! This is slower than the NUK but it is more accurate as you can say exactly how many ounces of milk you have (if it is refrigerated just increase it by an extra ounce). We now have 2 (one upstairs and one downstairs).

Sadly I’ve missed the boat for a refund. This product had several reviews saying it was hit or miss with warming but I followed some of the more optimistic ones. Sadly I was wrong. It rarely heats at the right temp. There is also no water gauge so it mostly guess work and it is not practical at 1 in the morning when you are tired and baby is hungry. I would not buy again. If you do, ensure you are using tall bottles for baby, as the smaller ones are no good for this machine - you cannot see where the water should some up to.
