The best I’ve tried so far
I have slowly been converting all my sockets, bulbs, and switches in the house over to smart devices as these things aren’t cheap.I have tried two other brands besides this Meross brand and this brand’s devices are far and away the best of the bunch. I don’t use Alexa or Google devices so it’s only an Apple HomeKit home for me (much more secure) but that very much limits the choices of smart devices you have available to you. I cannot remember the name of the first brand I tried but it was awful. They were such a pain to pair and connect and were not wifi but bluetooth. The bluetooth technology doesn’t react as quickly as the wifi so when you push your button or flip your switch, you have a painfully long second or so before the light comes one and that’s just silly. The second brand I have is by a company called WeMo and their technology is WiFi enabled so that is good. What I can’t stand about their products is their tendency to simply randomly drop connection with the Smart Home interface and take a long time to recover or reconnect. Most often than not they just drop off the grid for no reason and I have to go about the long process of removing the device from the Home interface, factory resetting the device, and then reconnecting the device to the Home interface. This is such a pain!!!!I have had zero issues with products from this Meross brand and have been loving everything that I’ve bought by them thus far. These three-way switches are no exception. I actually pulled out a three-way WeMo switch from the wall because the physical button just gave out one day and to actuate the switch you had to use your whole thumb or palm and about 5lbs of pressure; it was time to go! This switch was easy enough to install if you have a basic understanding and confidence of working with electricity (be careful to shut the power off at the panel box and have the right tools!) Once installed these switches worked perfectly. They are a joy to press and have a very tactile feel to them. They paired with my Apple Home in minutes and I haven’t had a drop in connection since installing them.I now own multiple switches and multiple light bulbs by this company and will continue to shop their line of smart devices. I’ve had good luck with the Meross and I hope you do too!

Excellent three way switch for a HomeKit Home
This is one of the many items from Meross that I have purchased. The goal is to expand the HomeKit ecosystem footprint in my home and Meross offers quality products at an affordable price in comparison to some other competitors.(1) Packaging: The product is packed really well and securely, the best part is that it is easy to open and does not require any tools.(2) Installation: If you have installed any smart switches before then installation is a breeze, three way switches are different than regular switches but the instructions are detailed and helps with finding correct wiring. I was able to install both switches in around 20 minutes.(3) Smarthome Integration: I use Apple HomeKit and each switch has its own accessory code since this is a three way switch. Overall no issues adding the product to the Home app. You can also add the product to Amazon Alexa which I have not done yet but in last I have done the integration on several Meross products without any issues.(4) Stability: This is one area where Meross has consistently shined, I haven’t had a single instance of any of their products losing WiFi. This switch is no different and I haven’t yet experienced any connectivity issues. The switches are in two different floors but work flawlessly.Overall I will give this product five stars, I will revisit the review should there be any changes in my rating.

Bought these to replace dying Wemo switches. Meross is flawless in HomeKit!
From the beginning my Wemo switches started failing and disconnecting from the app but I just dealt with it as it worked “just enough” to get going in HomeKit. Well they’ve finally died and looking for a replacement I found something from Meross that’s surpassed the Wemo in every way.The button action on the Meross switch is so much more tactile and assuring, I have a tp link kasa switch and the button on there feels like it might break. The LED Light is smaller and more subtle than the wemo and the connection to WiFi is way stronger. The install was super easy and the app connected really fast. The sound of the relay inside is also really satisfying in its click. The HomeKit integration is flawless. It connects perfectly with no issues and it reconnects quickly after power outages which was always a big problem with the Wemo. The switch is much smaller on the inside so there was less cramming of wires in the electrical box.I’ve had such a good experience with the Meross garage door opener that I looked to them for switches and they knocked it out of the park once again! They’ve been really stable in connection to WiFi and control inside HomeKit. I really like the matte plastic finish on it, my tp link kasa switches have a shiny plastic finish that I feel like gets scratched way too easily. Meross was smart to go with matte finish.

Works Great After NOT Using Channel 1 for 2.4GHz WiFi
I had a heck of a time adding this switch using Homekit. It would connect to my WiFi no issue but would not connect to Homekit. I have an older WiFi access point (Ubiquiti AP-AC-LR) and found someone on the UniFi form that said these switches would not connect well to 2.4GHz channel 1 for some reason. I was in fact using channel 1 and I found that when pinging the switch, I would get significant packet loss. I changed the WiFi access point to Channel 3 (yes I know you should use channel 1,6 or 11 to minimize overlap) and it connected immediately to Homekit and I had zero packet loss when pinging. I had no issues with other smart switches with Channel 1. Not sure if it is an Access Point Issue or the Meross Switch issue. So if anybody else is having issues, make sure not to use Channel 1 for your 2.4GHz WiFi. After the change it has been working great.

Great 3 way smart switch
Perfectly replaced my normal 3 way switches that I wanted to make smart with home/siri. Good responsive control. Easy to install if familiar with wiring and not intimidated by connecting 5 wires. Usually travelers 1 and 2 are at the top of a 3 way switch. Looks great with screw less decora covers. You can shop for some multigang (multiple switches in a row/utilitybox) switch covers here on Amazon there are many good ones. Seems good build quality and I like the placement of the home app code being on the front instead of the top like some other lights do, this way you only need to take off the faceplate to setup on app if you sell the house. For another light switch I bought you would need to unscrew and pull out the switch to see the top QR code which is less convenient. This switch is convenient.

Too unreliable to recommend
I have two Meross garage door controllers, 10 switches and maybe 10-15 outlets (I’m not going to go count them). The garage door controllers and outlets have been fairly reliable, only becoming unresponsive a few times in the past two years of service. The wall switches are much less reliable. I have to restart them or kick them off my network (forcing them to reconnect) about once a week. Not all of them, but every few days one or more won’t respond to Siri requests or the Meross app. Once I boot them off the network or restart the switches, they are usually fine, but I’ve also had to hard reset a number of them and add them to HomeKit again. Sometimes they add easily, sometimes I have to attempt it several times. Sometimes they add easily to HomeKit and then won’t show up in the Meross app. It all seems random. I even created a new 2.4Ghz ssid just for the Meross devices (none of my WEMO, Nest or LG devices EVER have an issue). That did not improve their reliability. I’m hoping for a firmware update that will resolve this issue. Since the outlets and garage door controllers are fairly reliable, I would think Meross could make the switches reliable too. We’ll see. They are much cheaper than WEMO’s which is why I bought them, but I’m done buying Meross switches until they fix the switches I already have.Update 7/9/25: I’m done with Meross. I’ve had two switches completely die. I still have to restart switches and outlets every few weeks, and hard reset one every few months. Again, my WEMO, LG, Apple, Nest, and the two tp-link switches I’ve recently purchased all work flawlessly. I added my three WEMO devices almost 6 years ago and they’ve worked flawlessly ever since. These devices are long-term investments that control aspects of your house. They need to be reliable. Meross devices are not. I’ll slowly replace them all with something I can rely on.

Best bang for the buck and HomeKit stable
As someone who has Meross switches throughout my home, I was excited to try out the 3 Way Smart Switch that supports Apple HomeKit. I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with this switch. It's incredibly easy to install and set up, and it works seamlessly with Apple HomeKit. I love that I can control my lights with just my voice or my phone, and I can even set up schedules and automations to make my life even easier. One of the standout features of this smart switch is its 3-way design. It allows me to control my lights from multiple switches, which is perfect for larger rooms or hallways. The switch itself is also sleek and modern-looking, and it blends in seamlessly with my home decor. Overall, I highly recommend the Meross 3 Way Smart Switch to anyone who wants to upgrade their home lighting system with a reliable and easy-to-use smart switch.

Great product.
Easy install but, I would suggest that you have a good basic knowledge of household wiring. Works great with Alexa. I was even able to set it up to do 3 things at the sametime, simply by saying "Alexa theater mode". Then, all at the same time my TV turns on, my overhead lights turn off and my mood lighting turns on. Perfect for movie night. I have a second one that I am planning to install in an upstairs hall.P.S. It also works with my smart watch.

Wemo Replacement
Switched over from Wemo to Meross. Works with Apple Home without a hub. Pairs easily.

Short life span...Don't expect more than 2 to 3 years before they die.
I have installed 3 of these and after just over 3 years they have all now failed. I was hoping they would last a long time but I guess you get what you pay for.
