Its a great rounded out paint set. I use mine for 3d printed models. The Purple Pearl is stellar and it comes with miz cups and plenty of cleaner and reducer to get you going. You will need bigger bottles of cleaner and reducer long before you will run out of paint. I have to airbrush in my garage where its average of 87-92 F and the paint dries a bit quicker than normal so if I dont thin properly the metallics tip dry and clog but thats less of a paint issue and more of an environmental issue. It lays down smooth, a few light coats and the metallics just do their thing. They also work over Vallejo primer and under Vallejo varnish. They also have individual bottles available on Amazon (but of course the Purple Pearl was out of stock lol )

I got these because my husband is color blind and can’t mix colors for his fishing lures by eye like I do. Love the metallic colors but they do clog my airbrush. Paint quality seems medium-low but you kind of expect that at this price point. Was not super thrilled with getting the translucent and opaque versions of the same color because I keep grabbing the wrong one. Thought I was getting more individual colors.

Absolutely great assortment of colors. I have not tried them all yet, but I can say that the pearl, neon, and opaque have all been great. They are a bit thicker than the other airbrush paints I have used, but they have even, vibrant color. The pearl colors are amazing, the more coats you apply the greater the effect. I applied many coats to a piece as a test and it looks like satin or silk, just gorgeous.

As with several other customers my box arrived destroyed and the paints were everywhere.. I was was missing 4 colors, and one had leaked. I contacted them and they immediately made it right and I have the new paints in my possession about a week later. I am very pleased with the response and correction of the issues. Only sprayed a little bit of the paint so far, but with a little reducer I got very even and good flow in my Iwata HP-CS .5 nozzle. I have the 3.5 nozzle, but have not tried it yet. Will update when I do. I would recommend to a beginner. Great for practicing strokes and good adhesion to the model I am working on right now.
